Jennifer'S Kids Learning Center

My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 3 months old. It came highly recommended. I am so grateful for how well they take good care of her. She is always so excited every morning as she is being dropped off, her excitement is so infectious. I love that she is engaged in age appropriate activities that enabled her to easily reach her developmental milestones. I also appreciate that the staff are willing to work with me in terms of keeping her on an age appropriate nap and feeding schedule. It is also very easy to contact the management. I am so grateful with the knowledge that while I am at work, my daughter is well cared for.

Please do not bring your children here. I left a review on Facebook and they took it down. Years ago this place was recommended to me and I didn’t have any issues until my son was more mobile (unable to walk). In 2 weeks he had a couple incidents one where the whole side of his face was scratched up and the director told me she would waive my payment. I quickly pulled him out but did not go to the police because I didn’t have evidence they intentionally hurt him. I couldn’t even get a story on what happened to him. 7 years later I still wish I never brought him here and I hope others stay away.

A long time ago I went here and the staff were not there at all, and nor was the manager. I was beat up by kids there, and the staff were rude to me as a kid. Please don’t go there or bring your kids. My mom pulled me out of there after something happened with a kid and me because they weren’t watching the children there. I’d give it a -10 stars if I could. Also the tables were filthy and the cups were most likely dirty! I was around 3 when the big incident happened. Would not recommend at all

My son was there nine years ago, and it was the worst experience in my entire life. He started off in their Elk Grove location, where DCFS shut Dorothy down due to having no Director’s there, my son was not even a 2-3 yrs old and he was in the toddler room playing in the blocks in another child, who is three or four, hit him in the face with blocks left his nose messed up where you feel them sticking out but since it’s not bothering him nothing was done. She gladly accepted him in the Hanover Park location. However, he was being bullied by nine year olds. In the same room with minimal observation. When I complained she turned it around always being my son the issue. That time I pulled him out of her placement and she never submitted my tax information the government she charged me for daycare, but never submitted it since I pulled him out, and she never responded to my calls or emails. Save yourself the headache!!! Do not send your kids here. She keeps deleting my post from 2015 come on man let this stay up be true to yourself !!!!

Please don’t bring your child here .. The director Ms.Dorthey is very unprofessional. As a professional you should make sure you provide the best services to your clients to the best of your ability. She is very disrespectful and never once updates me on my child . My child never liked it since day one. I had asked her about a problem I had that my child talked to me about and when my child was at the daycare she confronted my child. Why are you confronting a child? Never again worst daycare ever .
