I can’t recommend this daycare enough! Both of my girls went here prior to starting grade school and always returned during the Summer break. My kids enjoyed all the extra curricular activities that the center had to offer! They especially loved the days the bubble bus came, ice cream and going to the swimming pool! My children were always well taken care of and excited to return to school! I had a horrific experience with another center in Weldon Springs and Dana was very accommodating on having my son transition from the other center to hers. I knew that while my children attended this center they were in good hands. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. If there were any problems or concerns I never worried because I knew Dana and her staff would handle it to the best of their ability. Anytime I have friends asking for recommendations on Daycare, I always refer them to Jellybean. If I ever return to work in the area I will definitely be using this facility again!! Great people, clean facility, tons of smiling, happy and giggly children everytime I picked up!! Love it!

We had serious age-appropriateness and transparency concerns. A 7-year-old was required to lie down in a toddler classroom without a blanket or pillow. We only learned about this after the child disclosed it, and two teachers later confirmed it. A meeting was held with the owner, but the issue itself was not addressed, and the child was visibly upset afterward. Parents also paid a separate summer fee in addition to full tuition, yet field trips were canceled on multiple occasions, often due to transportation issues. Communication was primarily handled through Facebook rather than direct email or phone communication. There were also privacy concerns, including tax documents taped to the front door and left unattended. The facility was often cluttered. The center also closed on school district inclement weather days, which was inconvenient for working families. Update after owner response: This review reflects my firsthand experience and is supported by documentation. Communication regarding my child’s behavior was limited to a paper presented at pickup, which I declined to sign because the behavior had already been addressed at home the same day and I did not agree with delayed consequences. Multiple summer field trips were canceled beyond the single instance referenced, despite a separate summer fee. I documented these cancellations compared to the schedule provided. Sensitive tax documents were taped to the front door and left unattended, as reflected in the photo referenced. These concerns were discussed directly but were not resolved.

Let me start by saying, having true trust and comfort in your childcare provider is an underrated feeling and immense blessing. JellyBean Island has provided this plus so much more. From the low teacher to student ratio, to the thoughtfully planned and prepared meals, to the comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans—everything has exceeded my expectations. Ms. Dana, the facility owner and director, is onsite daily and also teaches an incredible enrichment curriculum called SPARCL. Each teacher personally contributes to the overall loving and nurturing atmosphere that fills each classroom. Not only will your child be met with their tailored educational needs, but they will also be poured into on a social and emotional level as well. Both of my children absolutely love this center and so do I! I am so grateful for them and would 10000% recommend to anyone looking for childcare.

All of my kids have loved going to Jellybean over the last 5.5 years!!!! The teachers love my kids and look forward to seeing them when school is out and during the summer time. My littlest has a special bond with the teachers which is so amazing as I was so nervous to put my children into a daycare center when I moved here. Jellybean made it so easy to adapt to the daycare center life!!! Me and the kids are forever grateful for the love and care they have received over the years!!!

We have been at Jellybean Island for 3.5 years and have had the most positive experience. My daughter has learned SO much and comes home every day so excited to tell me what she learned that day & my son tells me so many fun stories about all of the activities he does. If you are in the area, I would absolutely check it out. The teachers care so deeply about my kids and I never feel they are not cared for.
