Amazing community center. There is a lot going on here: an indoor pool, meeting rooms, an indoor gym, etc. My most favorite part is the gallery in the hallway. Parking could be challenging when there are many activities or events at the same time. You need to show ID to access the building. There is no food sold here.

A very unwelcoming place. I guess they didn’t think I was Jewish. They literally followed me around and demanded to know why I was there. I would never go back again. It made me feel very sad and kind of shocked. Not at all what I would expect of a Jewish community center. Or maybe this is what they are, but I just hoped that they were something they aren’t. They always say your memory might forget certain details of experiences, but you’ll always remember how it made you feel. I will always remember how they made me felt.

Read this if you’re interested in playing pickleball here! My friends and I used to come here for pickleball, which was fine, but then they started changing the times for pickleball without telling anyone. We’d drive 20+ minutes to get there, only to have to wait around 2 hours for it to start. Despite often having 2 people at the front desk, they NEVER seem to answer the phone so you can confirm their hours. They also cut it from 4 hours down to only 2, and it’s so crowded that they made us play to only 9 points. We were only getting to play 4 or 5 games - all about 20 minutes apart. Lastly, they raised the cost of their day pass from $10 to $20, which is outrageous considering they kept pickleball at only 2 hours and their gym facility is the size and quality of your average apartment’s gym. I don’t know who’s still coming here at this point - it’s nothing but a greedy cash grab.

This review is specifically on the management of the aquatics center. What started as a very positive experience became a nightmare. We started with private swim lessons for my son back in 2024 and purchased a 5 day private lesson to try it out. We loved our lessons with Jessica and when our lessons were about to run out we went ahead and purchased a 10 day private lesson ($480). Before our lessons ran out Jessica stopped doing private lessons so we asked to get a refund. From the Aquatics Coordinator: "Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds based on the instructor's decision to move on. However, I would be happy to arrange for a new instructor or offer you a credit that can be used at the JCC." So we did as directed and got on the schedule for a new instructor for our last two lessons. And this happened: On Thursday July 31 at 6pm (First Lesson), we drove to JCC and got turned away from the pool closure due to the storm. The storm was understandable, but was never notified ahead of time and when we reached out to the instructor via email, no email or apology was given. On Monday August 4 at 6pm, the instructor never acknowledged the mistake and once again cancelled our August 7 at 6pm lesson because she can no longer do the lesson. It is a shame that I need to write this review to warn people about this management team. My family will no longer waste anymore of our time and money here.

As a Soldier in Fairfax/ Annandale community- This place offers excellent facility, activities and customer service (Especially, Ms. Sarah at membership is awesome). I would give it 5 stars, since its free for active duty but, they do not offer any specials for Veterans or military Retirees...Lot of veterans in our neighborhood...I am sure they can gain lots of benefits from this facility, hope this will change soon!
