What Parents Say
It Takes a Village FCEC receives mixed reviews with strong praise from satisfied parents highlighting caring staff, family atmosphere, and good kindergarten preparation, but serious concerns from dissatisfied parents regarding facility conditions, staff turnover, safety issues, and management professionalism.
The Village has amazing staff who care deeply and connect with the children while also teaching and maintaining a safe environment for all. Putting my child here is one of the best decisions I have made (she LOVES it as well). Jacque and Tarah are huge blessings! Communication is clear. Especially during COVID they made things easy and were reliable. I would and do encourage all my friends and others to put their children here. I am confident my child will be ready for school and whatever it throws at her because of The Village. It has been an amazing experience & I’ve made relationships that will last a lifetime!
It Takes a Villiage has the most wonderful staff and a family atmosphere that you won’t regret. The owner has became a huge part of my life over the years, and has helped me to get to where I am today. It’s such a blessing to trust the daycare to teach, love, encourage, guide and nurture children with professionalism and respect.
Pros: owner/director is very knowledgeable on child development and preparation needed for Kindergarten; offered a 1-week tuition free after 1 full year; weekly rates are reasonable and comparable to other small daycare facilities, relatively convenient location Cons: very old/antiquated building; difficulty keeping trained teachers/frequent turnover; lacks consistent administrative/leadership guidance; frequent combining of older kids and younger kids
This daycare is an old house that needs updating, and the director and staff are rude with smart mouths. DEFINITELY NOT my idea of the caring, learning environment needed to keep children.
I would highly recommend to check somewhere else before using this daycare first things first my daughter was left unattended and they lost her shoes because of it even though there's a lobby you're not allowed to drop off or pick up children inside the building the lady that runs the daycare was late to work which made me late to work they serve non-nutritionist meals that make zero sense of putting together I paid 2 weeks ahead of time upon withdrawal they would not refund my money and not to mention my daughter had a bleeding rash for 3 weeks over memorial break weekend I got it cleared up by Tuesday she was bleeding again when I picked her up they mix older and younger children together which is not safe to multiple reasons and the woman who runs it is rude as hell I wouldn't trust that woman as far as I can throw her
