My experience with this daycare was very mixed. At the beginning, everything was going well, and that’s why I would rate it about a three-star overall. My son started in July and attended until early November. At first, he actually enjoyed going to daycare, and things seemed fine. The center uses an app to keep parents informed, but communication through it was very inconsistent. Sometimes photos or updates were posted, and other times there were none at all. If I wanted to know how my child was doing, I usually had to call, which was frustrating because the whole point of the app is to stay informed without having to chase updates. The class sizes were also a concern. My son’s classroom often had a large number of children, and the infant room had about 10–12 babies with only two teachers, one of whom was a rotating floater. I don’t have anything negative to say about the infant teachers themselves — they were kind and caring — but the ratios and consistency were concerning. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was with one specific teacher in my son’s classroom. My son began having problems and eventually told me things that were very alarming. He was being treated poorly, including being told hurtful things and being excluded. There were multiple parents with similar concerns, and several children did not want to go into that classroom. That’s actually how some of us parents connected — our kids were having emotional breakdowns at drop-off. There was also a serious incident where another child poked my son in the eye with a pencil, and I had to take him to the emergency room. I was never notified when it happened, and no one could clearly explain how it occurred, even though the center has cameras. That was extremely concerning as a parent. After that, communication became worse. I was told my son was “fine,” but he clearly wasn’t. He was being placed in time-out without clear reasons, and I was later told by a therapist in the classroom that my son was not aggressive and was actually being picked on. She even mentioned that he often stayed quiet and didn’t defend himself. I do want to say that the infant teachers and Ms. Geslette from administration were kind and did listen to my concerns. She communicated with me often, but unfortunately, nothing was truly resolved. The teacher involved remained in the classroom, and I later learned that other children had also been moved because of similar issues. In the end, I had no choice but to remove both of my children. It was very disappointing because the school had potential, and things started off well. However, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to address serious concerns made it impossible for us to continue.

We absolutely love International Children Academy! The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive to each child’s needs. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and reassured that our little one was in great hands. The facility is always clean, organized, and filled with engaging activities that help children learn and grow. My twins has blossomed socially and academically since joining, and we’re so grateful for the nurturing environment they provide. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and photos that give us peace of mind throughout the day. We highly recommend ICA to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and educational space for their child!

My son attended this daycare from his first year, we spent 3 years here but I decided to change it because in general we did not have personalized attention as it should be, very little empathy and before any question the answers were unprofessional and rude. The best thing about ICA is miss Beatriz who always received us with affection with sweetness and that is the best memory… I wish all the staff learned that being professional does not mean rudeness

Highly recommended and amazing staff and teachers! My children have been going there starting 2017 and couldn’t have picked a better school and daycare for their education! Very attentive, accommodating and caring. The teachers go far and beyond to help my kids in the classroom with any problem they don’t understand. They also have fun events for the children to make learning fun and motivate them!

This school has been an exceptional experience. The teachers are committed and passionate about teaching, which is reflected in the stimulating learning environment they have created. The infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, providing a safe and welcoming space for students. In addition, the focus on the holistic development of children, both academically and in social and emotional skills, is admirable. The variety of extracurricular activities also allows students to explore their interests and talents. I am very satisfied with the education she is receiving and grateful for the support the school provides to each of its students." Mahia's Mother
