We had a celebration of life for my sister December 12, 2025. My family and I were treated with so much compassion. The setup was beautifully done. There was ample parking for our guests. We were fortunate to find such a nice place in the time frame we had. Thank you India Community Center for your hospitality and accommodation.
This review focuses on the robotics programme. The ICC is a great place overall, and I'm glad we did the programme, but disorganised management can detract from the experience. When we first came here, I was bowled over by the energy, enthusiasm and goodwill of everyone I met. Truly a wonderful community and a vibrant community resource. However, there were so many last minute changes in our session of the programme that our kids never ended up doing any design. Session dates were cancelled, new dates scheduled, then cancelled, then rescheduled. Fourth grade kids (9 years old) were put in a room for an entire three hour session with no robotics equipment and told to work on writing up notes. Mentors seemed to be there mostly to answer questions and give presentations. Finally, the scrimmage that is supposed to be the highlight of the 8 week course was scheduled before the end of the course to accommodate people who were unable to make the final session due to the date changes. This resulted in the kids needing to "compete" with something that had no alterations from the pre-packaged hero bot. Management does not respond to email and can be evasive in person, which makes things particularly frustrating. Even with all that, the enthusiasm from the kids in the room is infectious, and you really feel part of something bigger. It's a big robotics programme, and trying to expand. Much of the structured class time is devoted to prepping for formal competition instead of teaching robotics. The programme has potential in the long term, but your mileage may vary.
Nice community center in Milpitas. I came here to see the Sankranthi Sambaralu organized by BATA, Bay Area Telugu Association. It has enough parking place. Auditorium will fit for 500 people easily. If has good reception with seating area.
Amazing place for Indian kids to learn more of cultural heritage. Just an amazing location. Lot of amazing events are organized at this place.drive is amazing to ICC center.
Thank you Icc for arranging an amazing evening. The room was exactly as promised. Everything was arranged was ready before time. Had a dedicated person who was managing everything as in making sure the dishes tray were refilled and were warm. The bartender were just great and were quick in keeping up with the requests I would highly recommend Icc they manage event to the tee. Thank you 🙏
