Inch By Inch Child Development Center

I've been really happy with the approach to learning from my infant to my preschooler. They do lots of enriching activities and were really caring when my infant went on a bit of a hunger strike when she started out! I think just about every teacher from the infant room to the director worked to get her comfortable and taking her bottle. Felt more welcoming and better value than the more corporate style place we were at previously.

Our son attended Inch by Inch for 6 months and was happy every single day we picked him up. From day one he loved going. We loved the Lillio app and the daily updates and photos to learn about his day. We learned about so many community programs to help our son with his development. We would recommend Inch by Inch to any parent looking for great child care.

I have been so thankful for Inch by Inch over the last ten years in which I’ve had kids enrolled. Inch has been there for our family through so much- leaving my first baby in their care is a big deal in itself, but they also cared for my children as we transitioned to 2 and then 3 kids, and then through covid when they really stepped up. Through all of that the teachers and directors have acted with such kindness and care for the kids and our family. Inch does a great job of striking a balance between structured learning so kids are ready for kindergarten and making sure there is a lot of space for play and kids to be kids. My oldest two went into kindergarten as solid readers, which was a shock to me, but my youngest is still learning as she started school this fall. I say that to highlight that a range of kids with a range of abilities and interest have a place at Inch and had equally good experiences. Inch is constantly finding fun things for the kids, having water days and bouncy houses in the summer or bringing in live animal presenters- there was always something to look forward to! They’ve also taken great care to improve their physical space (like a recent outdoor playground renovation), communication tools (like the apps they use to post pictures of the kids through the day), and curriculums so the kids can learn about all kinds of topics and build basic social, physical, and academic skills. For all of that though, I think the biggest sign that Inch is a safe, loving place for children is that so many kids are happy to be dropped off in the morning and are still having a good time at pick up in the afternoon. I admit I was daycare hesitant when my oldest started, but after ten years I have no hesitation recommending Inch. Thank you!

My kids have been attending Inch by Inch for almost three months now, and it has been wonderful. The teachers are so lovely, attentive to our kids and full of great ideas to teach my kids fun stuffs! We just moved from a francophone city to an anglophone lifestyle and while my son needed a bit more time to adapt, the teachers have been nothing short of wonderful and patients. The Directors are also doing a great job to make Inch by Inch feel like home. Thank you to all the staff, we appreciate you greatly.

We just finished at Inch after almost 8.5 years! Inch was perfect for our family and both my boys were so ready to move to K. It was bittersweet leaving out Inch family. They have loving and committed teachers, a strong curriculum and we loved getting pictures and updates everyday through their App. They have a great playground, lunchroom and inside gym. Highly recommend for any families in the area.
