This place has suprised me with how controlling they are with there clients and way they are treated. They only able to do this because more than half the individuals there are not able to just leave cause it court ordered so they have to do what they told and it a abuse of power by the managmeny at family works. Things from personal phone time to things you get accountability for are rediculous and people in persons are treated better even. I would recommend some other place highly and or wish someone created a better place to help and treat people better. Sucks how much money is funded to such a controlling place, moral could be way better if they care to acknowledge rather than control
Very unprofessional! Timid employees that are on power trips. If you are already down bad well don't worry the staff will subliminally bully you on your journey to sobriety. Good luck to all you women who are recovering and working to get your families back but you will probably be better off somewhere else unless you are willing to shut your mouth while you are treated like you are less than! Very unfortunate. The program is GREAT!!! The staff are recovering addicts themselves.. so you would naturally assume they know how hard recovery can be and relate to you and try and aide in your sobriety but it is exactly the opposite. Do BETTER NEBRASKA FAMILY WORKS. Get some new employees ASAP!
Great program but I'd say those RECOVERING ADDICTS that run are ridiculous. I was kicked out for name calling and was told I verbally assaulted a staff first few days I was there seen 2 white females go off on the staff since I'm a colored woman with body art all over I felt they were really threatened. They lied and said they were going to successfully discharge Me but when I wanted it writing before I walked out the door they said they'll give it to me next week smh if your white and lost your kids go there for us colored (black,native,mexican) individuals try a new place. They have black mold on the 5th floor $600,000 in debt can't afford over the counter meds but want to put you on meds for money. The audit people are investigating them as of now most likely for someone embezzling money they don't have smh
