Holy Cross Lutheran Child Care Center

My two children attend this daycare. They have since 6 January 2016. The staff is very polite and responsive. They are very clean (as the last daycare my children went to resulted in me staying home more than I worked because of sick children). The providers are very attentive from what I have seen and let me know when areas of learning need a little boost from home. My children love it. My children are happier than they were at the last daycare. Instead watching the door for me they have always been busy doing something (drawing, coloring, playing with play-doh, crafting, listening to a story, etc. They are always surprised to see me when I pick them up. Their rates are reasonable. They didn't charge me for days I didn't bring them... I guess I'm not sure why all daycares don't operate like this. I paid $400 weekly in one of the previous daycares for my two children (whether they were there or not). All around, this is a great daycare and I recommend it to anyone.

My child attend this daycare in November to December of 2017. First off I would give it a one star, however, I do not "hate it" so i choose to "dislike it" instead. Secondly, in my opinion as this post is, the daycare staff are inconsistent and do not constantly supervisor as per state law, there is a lack or no communication between staff and or parents. When one calls or emails they do not return calls or reply to emails. The downstairs daycare area in general feel dark, unlively and depressing. The staff provide inadaquate supervision, are uninviting and aren't very knowledgeable especially when I comes to ther own rules, they throw away your child's, there is a set time for "potty" breaks every hour to hour and a half. What child do you know will hold the pee it poop when they need to go and also that is not healthy for them. My child was hurt, injured, harmed on more than one occasion twice her face was scratched by a boy and took her stuff animal and ripped the tag or sticker off of it. When we asked the particular morning staff what happen she had no answers for us and nothing was done about it. One staff(who isn't her usually morning it day staff) who states that my child went down the slide and hurt her back and blamed it on the slide. When we asked our child said a boy pushed her. Ther was a bruise and the ther marks in her face for several days. Shes there for a month and sustain 3 injuries, her clothes were thrown away and her stuffed animal was damaged. Do I recommend this daycare "NO" and never.

My children have been going for the last 8 years i love this place and the kids enjoy it too! Pastor and Paula keep a close eye on the children and teachers and do whats best when needed. I would recommend this daycare to anyone!

Terrible place, kids being hit by teachers, they dont feed the kids, they dont toilet them. I do NOT know how this place is open!
