Holly Oak Child Care Center

My precious 9 month granddaughter go here she's never been left with anyone other than myself , her mom and pop pop she never cry she has fun everyday, they keep her clean , well fed , nurtured and most importantly they keep her safe , I really really recommend Destined for Greatness Child care,staff is very very good and friendly, Mrs Amy is the best she so warm friendly caring she's like a mommy to my granddaughter and Amy is like family to me Thank You Mrs Amy for all you do for my granddaughter, we love you and your staff,❤️😁💯

My son has attended Holly Oak for 3 years. In that time he has grown so much developmentally. His teachers always felt more like family and have gone above and beyond their roles to help my child succeed and feel comfortable.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. My two children, 1 and 3, were enrolled at Holly Oak for less than a year. The initial tour was great but we learned there were a bunch of empty promises.  While some of the teachers may be wonderful, the MANAGEMENT is terrible. Immediately we noticed lesson plans for my three year old (at the time) were not being posted to the app, as promised. We went to the teacher, assistant director, and director on 4 separate occasions between July 2023 and March 2024 and we were met with excuses but it was never corrected. Mind you,  the teacher of the 3yr old class is wonderful, but it seems she is not given the proper support to be successful and keep parents informed. My potty-trained three year old was consistently peeing on herself on the playground for a good few weeks and we would notice teachers on their phone. We had to meet with her teachers and the director about this 3 times before it was corrected. And THE WORST NEWS involved one of their teachers mistreating my 1 year old by mishandling him during diaper changes which caused bleeding in his private area. What's even worse is that the center (MANAGEMENT) did not communicate this to me, I had to find out through an anonymous source. When I approached the Assistant Director WITH PHOTOS showing how my son was handled, she defended the teacher saying she personally didnt believe it. They also lied and told me they had no prior knowledge of what was going on with this teacher until pictures, videos, abs recordings started to surface.  Communications from then feel robotic and scripted and do not acknowledge the hurt their Center has caused many families.......I am disheartened and now distrustful.  You hear about this stuff in the news but never expect it to hit home. More interesting is that there's an ongoing investigation into the mistreatment 'allegations' and the centers involvement (because they didn't report it) and this information is posted NOWHERE for parents to be informed. I just hope the next person who thinks of sending their child there sees this post and reconsiders.
