We love Hilltop Childcare in Monroe! My daughter has been going there since she was about 7 months old and is now 21 months, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is caring, patient, and truly loves the kids. My daughter is always excited to go, and it’s been amazing to see how much she’s learned and grown while being there. The environment feels safe, clean, and welcoming, and communication with the staff has always been great. We’re so thankful for Hilltop and highly recommend them to any parent looking for great childcare!

As a parent, trusting someone with your child is everything & Hill Top Early Childhood Enrichment Center has EXCEEDED every expectation I had. My daughter has been here since she was a baby, and I’ve never once questioned if she was in the right place. They make safety and communication a priority. I get daily updates and photos, which gives me so much peace of mind, and check-in/check-out is always quick and easy (which is such a plus during busy mornings). The teachers truly feel like family. They are loving, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, and you can tell they genuinely care about each child. My daughter has grown so much emotionally, socially, and academically—and most importantly, she loves going to school every day. I was honestly terrified of daycare at first, but Ms. Vicki took that fear away immediately. All of the teachers are GREAT! Ms. Ashley, Ms. Josie, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Kayla & Kalah Ms. Carol, Ms. Katie, Ms. Amanda! Ms Michelle! I am so glad we switched our daughter to Hilltop Early Childhood Enrichment Center. She has thrived here since day one and is learning so much. The staff is amazing! Everyone here is so kind, caring, and want the best for each and every child. I can’t say enough great things about this center. Truly a blessing that we found them for our daughter. I knew as soon as walked through the door that Hilltop would be our top choice. It feels like a home and the staff feels like family. They have provided incredible care in the infant and toddler room to us. We are impressed with the communication, the cleanliness and their enrichment programs. Most importantly, we have peace of mind that when our child isn’t with us, they are being well loved cared for. Vicki (the owner) is so easy to talk to and has the experience and staff that has created a wonderful environment for our child to grow and thrive.

We absolutely LOVE that we found Hilltop for our kiddos. Their menu? PHENOMENAL. My kids actually eat versus a standard menu from other centers we have considered and were previously at. Pancakes, nuggets, Mac n’ cheese… it’s actual kid food they will eat! I hadn’t seen any other centers in the area with this type of menu and that was the first thing that drew me in when we decided to switch daycares. The care and attention given from the teachers? AMAZING. They genuinely care about the children they are with each day. From field trips to the library or nursing home to the comfortable cozy environment the center offers and the fun crafts they do each day, we could not be happier. Miss Vickie the director is EXTREMELY involved, she knows all kids & their parents, is actively in the rooms with the kids doing activities, and she is always helping to support her teachers with cleaning at the end of the day or preparing food. She helps change babies, goes outside with the older kids, and is actually in the rooms throughout the day. I have never in my life seen such an involved, passionate, caring director of a childcare facility. She makes me feel that my kids are safe while at daycare and isn’t afraid to have difficult conversations with the parents of kids who tend to be disruptive or may need extra support controlling their emotions in the classroom. She isn’t afraid to say “No” and correct inappropriate behavior which is HUGE for us coming from a different center where our poor kids were constantly being injured, bitten, or bullied and nothing was done. Miss Kayla, all on her own, helped to come up with a system of stickers and treats to help my picky eater try new foods. She encourages my shy girl to be confident and goes above & beyond to make sure my girls both feel safe and supported when I am at work. Miss Lindsey is an actual miracle worker. My stubborn 3 year old can be a handful, and Miss Lindsey is assertive yet kind and listens to my little sour patch kid during her meltdowns to find the root cause. We have had less & less issues with my bullheaded child than ever before due to Miss Lindsey’s patience & compassion. Miss Katie is also a literal angel. The amount of attention to detail, communication, & lovingness she provides to my little guy who is less than a year old makes her more of an aunt than a teacher. On any given day, I will walk into the center for pickup and she will be carrying my dude around with her & snuggling with him like he is her own, making sure he isn’t left on a floor crying or fussing for a long period of time as I’ve seen elsewhere. Miss Amanda is incredible with my older girls as well, when their rooms are integrated with the school age kiddos towards pick up time she makes sure they are included and do activities with everyone else even though they are younger. I love every single one of the teachers at Hilltop and have never felt more comfortable dropping my babies off for the day. They are actually excited to go to school for the first time ever and that means more than I could ever put into words. If you are looking for a center that puts love and KIDS needs back into childcare, a center that doesn’t force kids to be in a single room all day and actually integrates the center into a “home” type of environment, and a center that ensures your children are safe while providing support to other children that may need the extra attention to help regulate emotions & behaviors, look no further. you will not find this anywhere else.
