What Parents Say
Laughter & Lullabies Childcare Academy in Monroe, Georgia has mixed reviews. Positive reviews praise exceptional staff, customer service, and flexibility, with one parent crediting Ms. Tyra with being life-changing. However, negative reviews cite security concerns (unlocked front door), strict classroom policies, unprofessional staff conduct, and inflexibility with drop-off times.
My children did not get enrolled here. I brought my one and two year old to tour the school a few months ago and I left mid “tour”. The front door was not locked (with all the school shootings it should be mandatory). There’s a classroom right at the front door pretty much. My two year old wanted to explore like he was able to at every other daycare we have toured and they treated him like he shouldn’t be touching ANYTHING. As if he’s not a two year old sitting in front of a room full of toys. The director was kind of rude she had to take an insurance call in the middle of our conversation while trying to keep my two year old still. I left because I could tell it wasn’t the place for my babies. We never got to see any part of the daycare which I’m glad we didn’t since my kids weren’t able to be kids at a DAYCARE.
So to rewind a little , I don't have family here in Georgia, all my family lives in Washington state so it's safe to say I absolutely have felt so backed into a corner with my five year old starting school finding something for my youngest was going to cost me my job and then Ms Tyra was brought into my life and when I say God sent me a life line she was it . No questions asked , no hesitation she helped me when I felt like I didn't have any place to turn . I am so absolutely beyond grateful for her and this place .
Very unprofessional. They will not work with you on times at all try to act like a private school instead of a daycare. Edit: Im sure the cdc says children must be dropped off by 9 am. Also the hours of the barber shop were affected by covid as well closing at 12pm at the time. So like I said unwilling to work with families especially during a pandemic.
By far the best daycare we’ve been to! They are so accommodating and have the absolute best customer service! We love all the staff there and we recommend this daycare to anyone!
They Always Have Inconveniences The Day B4 Or The Day Off. Constantly Telling Children To SHUT UP.
