As a client, I would suggest steering clear of this group. As other reviews have stated, Helping Hands is horrible with communication. They don't notify the client if no one is going to show up for a time slot. If the client calls to find out where the care giver is, you get stalled for over an hour only to be told that no one is available. The two care givers that we have had are good at what they do. They have provided company for my wife, help around the house and are very personable. I wish they would get smart and freelance instead of being mistreated by their agency.
Brenda will come for a few hours a day and never stay the full time. Some days she doesn’t even come. Some she comes to change her and leaves that is it.
Nobody came when they was supposed to. Talked with Chris (manager) he was supposed to call back with help. Week and a half later still no call. They are to be there 3 times a week.
I’m not about to do a math test, spelling test, and a check list on my car when we don’t even get to transport clients. Nope. If they call you, tell them to shove it.
