Heart of the Shepherd has been our children’s childcare, preschool, and pre-K for four years. We adore the teachers and support staff. The children thrive under the loving care and direction of the warm, compassionate staff. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and well structured. We appreciate how we are invited into their school for evening events and community activities even though we do not attend the church. We especially appreciate the leadership of Courtni, Michelle, and Pastor Sam. I wholeheartedly recommend Heart of the Shepherd to any parent!
The Child Development Center at Heart of the Shepherd is amazing. The teachers and staff welcome children and families into a loving, supportive environment. The teachers meet children where they are at and support them in developing at their own pace. They foster independence, such as zipping coats and putting on hats. The playgrounds are incredible for exploration, nature, and fun. The center also has a large indoor space to play for when the weather is bad. I am eternally grateful for Heart of the Shepherd for being part of my village.
My husband and I are so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff at Heart of the Shepherd Child Development Center. Our oldest son attended for 2 years prior to starting kindergarten, and he was so well prepared as he moved on to the next chapter of his education. Heart of the Shepherd provided a loving, Christ centered environment for our son to learn and play. We are so thankful for them!
We unexpectedly had to make a change to our childcare and I am so thankful we found Heart of the Shepherd! From our first meeting, I immediately felt more comfortable than any of the other places we toured. Throughout our time we have experienced the infant room, both toddler rooms, and the preschool room and all the teachers have been wonderful. My kids look forward to going to school and have a genuine connection with their teachers.
Our daughter has been a part of the Heart of the Shepherd Lutheran Child Development Center for 6 years, since she was just a baby in their infant room. She is in 1st Grade now, but we still attend their summer program because we love them SO MUCH! One of the greatest things about HOTS CDC is the consistent staff and their genuine love and kindness. Highly recommend :-)
