First Pres Childrens Care Ctr

My daughter is 7 months almost 8 months old and began going to the daycare when she was just 4 months. I was extremely nervous at just the thought of leaving my child with anyone else but family. We started looking at all the local daycare facilities and took many tours. The First Presbyterian Children's center was by far the best. They were all extremely kind and all the teachers are so so so kind and friendly. They really made me feel extremely comfortable before dropping my baby off for her first day by allowing me to come get to know everyone. Each day she is sent home with a list of everything she did that day, when she ate and how much, when she slept and for how long, and every detail of her day. My daughter can't talk yet but I can tell she is extremely excited to be there when I drop her off. The staff cares very much for each child individually. If you have any concerns they actively listen to your concerns and truly care about everything you have to say. The staff is all extremely friendly and their turn over rate is very low so you know that they all know what they are doing and that it is a good place to work. When you pick up your child you will always get a written report and they will also tell you any concerns they have, like teething or anything and everything your child did that day. they also do fun crafts like painting, even with the babies, and it is so awesome to get little pictures and fun things that your child did. They also make sure your child gets to experience lots of different things that help develop their brain. This includes things like music class and stroller rides, ect. You can tell when you talk to them that they really really care very much for your child and their overall well-being. The director is the best! She is so friendly, helpful and just pleasant to be around. The facility is also extremely clean. The floors are very clean and for the little baby areas they require people to take their shoes off before walking in to reduce the spread of germs which I love. I have looked at all the toys too numerous times and everything is very well maintained and cared for. There are not enough positive things I can say about this daycare. If you are a first time Mom or just concerned about dropping your child off with someone else, you can have peace of mind taking your child here as they are by far the best. I highly suggest this daycare; you will not be disappointed.
