Our 3 year old loves it here. She is flourishing and thriving. The teachers are absolutely amazing. I can tell they’re happy to be there every morning when I drop off and it’s evident the teachers love what they do and are incredibly passionate. They give complete detailed rundowns on how the day went after every day during pick up. This school clearly tends to each child individually and carefully. I’ve never once felt like my child is just a number. In the beginning our daughter had some hiccups with adjusting and they kept me well informed regarding that and even gave me advice on what I can do at home to help her with some issues we were having which I really appreciated. They are very patient and understanding. The classroom is very clean, warm and inviting. The food they feed them is nutritious and filling. They also use an app called Lillio where everything is reported and where pictures are uploaded which we love to see. 10/10 recommend
Completely forgot to write this review a few months back. The overall activities the children do are educational. The classrooms for the younger kiddos can seem a bit crowded but are colorful and fun for children. I would not recommend this daycare if you have a child with special needs or developmental disabilities. I had high hopes for this facility but was ultimately left with no childcare within a day of my child being there due to her Autism, and it being an unsafe environment for her. The Autism of both my children was disclosed when enrolling the children. I recommend this facility train their staff and work on creating an inclusive environment for all children.
This place has such a warm environment. The teachers all truly care about the kids and some have been here for years. They listen to your needs and understand that all kids are different and special in their own way. My oldest was a reading genius and the teacher made efforts to give him his own separate reading packet that she created to challenge him further and he loved it. My daughter was a hitter and biter and they had so much patience and worked with me to remedy that. I've had three kids attend this place now and would do it again. They have a great learning structure, celebrate holidays with egg hunts, costume parties, and my kids came home with tons of art and projects they do in class. Their after school program is excellent too for kids in elementary school and when the schools are closed. They give credit for snow days, the list goes on and on. We love Happy Valley Preschool and Child Care Center!
There are so many things we love about HVPCC. First and foremost, the teachers are capable, kind, and trustworthy. The facilities are clean, safe, and engaging. The programming strikes a great balance between art, education, and play. We’re truly grateful to be part of this family-run, local school community.
Feel very lucky to have our daughter enrolled in HVPS. She loves her classmates and teachers. Everyone is friendly and helpful during drop offs. Really appreciate the pictures and updates through the app each day. Thank you for making this a place we feel comfortable bringing our kid to each day.
