Academy For Kids

Absolutely love this place. Was SO anxious to send my son (at 8mo old). But I am so very happy with the place, the girls etc. My son is now 2 1/2 and is happy to go and it’s such a relief that he enjoys attending. They are excellent communicators, reassuring and so so helpful when teaming up for potty training. Will keep my son here as long as I can!

After seeing the negative review below I felt like I needed to write my honest review. My kids (8, 4 and 10mon) started here back in June. I was so nervous to send my kids anywhere as they had always been at my best friends daycare. My 4yr old is a handful of chaos to say it nicely and when he first started, I got an email every day about his behavior. At first it was a lot to take in, I felt like he would get kicked out or he was going to make himself a target, like the kid no one wants in their class :) I did tell the school my concern and they were quick to reassure me that this is typical 1 for his age and 2 typical during transition to a new daycare AND honestly, I rather know how my child is behaving when I am not around so that we can work on behavior together, on the same page. The school has been amazing and keeping me informed on everything and working together with my son. After a few weeks he was doing a ton better and he loves this place. I asked my son if his teacher reads out loud to his class and his response was "Well how else would she read to us" I asked if it was out of a radio and he said "Teacher Ashley reads the books" I was REALLY anxious about taking my baby to daycare with someone I didn't know... she was 5.5months when she had to start. I was a nervous wreck for the first couple weeks, but they were amazing with her. They have an app that they literally have to document every bottle, diaper and food on which is reassuring if you have a tiny one. They can also send you messages on the app which is just like a text, they send pics and do projects with the littles too which is so cute to see. My daughter was not really one a schedule when she started, and I feel like being at daycare really helped get it in gear. All of the teachers know the kids and the parents which feels good! The teachers LOVE my kids, and you can tell! My older 2 are VERY vocal if they don't like something or someone and they absolutely love this place!

My son has attended this school since 6 weeks old (he’s now a thriving 4 year old) and I couldn’t ask for a better school! The staff has SO much heart, the environment is SO clean - and Terri truly is such a wonderful director and we are thankful for all the teachers! My son is beyond advanced for his age and HVCK has a big part in that - they teach the kiddos so much. We will always be so thankful for HVCK - we love them all! ❤️

My son has been here 4 yrs now and absolutely loves going. The teachers are amazing and I love how inclusive this place is for my son.
