Happy Campers At Temple Israel

We have a had a good experience at Happy Campers! Everyone knows everyone there, even if your child is not in their specific classroom. My daughter goes outside often, has learned so much, takes music, ballet and gymnastics class and is even does yoga and loves it! I also want to add that all of the teachers and the director really get to know the kids well and show them so much love. We now have a son there as well and it is wonderful to see the attention to detail the teachers take in caring for him.

The director of this facility is horrible and did not have the best interest of the child in mind. We were on the waitlist for months and months and upon her advisement, continued to check in on the status and were told repeatedly that it would be just a month or two longer. She continued to say that we should check out the schools sister sites and when we finally did, she gave us a huge attitude and after months of waiting on a spot and driving across town to take our child to a temporary situation, we were bumped because we had failed some test that we were unaware that we were taking. The first sister school had a toy dangling from the ceiling on fishing line in the toddler room and the director was MIA when we showed up for our scheduled appointment. The second school had one classroom where the teachers acted like they actually wanted to be there (the new director seemed very nice though and hopefully has been able to make a difference) and the rooms were outdated and dirty. We chose to stay on the waitlist at TI because of the internet monitoring and because at that time it seemed like the best option. After many months of being strung along, we finally had to find a better school and thankfully we found one that we feel is 1000x better than any of the Happy Campers schools could ever hope to be. It is a shame that this school does not have the best interest of the children on the waitlist in mind and that they(she) plays games with their safety. All because of some need to feel important or above others? You are not all of that.
