I go to Grossmont High and it’s my 4th year, and for the most part it’s a pretty good school. Good teachers, good selection of activities, good academic opportunities, but the bathrooms and drinking fountains are disastrous and some of my peers are not nice at all.
Went here for a few high school baseball games and disappointed at the lack of access to the outdoor bathrooms. What few were available were locked before the games were done. There were no concessions available on a hot day, and the field was so-so. I cannot speak to the school itself, academics or the students, but as a visitor going to the baseball fields, I was not impressed. It's a shame because they have many fields, but very limited on bathrooms that were not port o potties
Soshmont is the nickname for this school it's a horrible school they only care about money. They don't care about people getting bullied . Don't send your kids here put them in a home school program they will be far better off.
Great school! Some teachers may be rude as well as some of the staff at the office, but most of the teachers are just outstanding and wonderful! Im in my fourth year at GHS and its great! My teachers have always been nice and caring towards the students as well as my counselor. Best school!❤️
Being a single dad of a 15 year old daughter who just moved home from TX, I needed help. Grossmont HS was highly recommended so I pulled up the District Office reviews. I saw a 5 star review of the receptionist Monica, defining her professionalism and welcoming presence. Should've been a 10. Monica, Pamela, Karin and Teresa (next door at the high school), top notch. They truly care about the kids AND the family. I needed help and I found it.
