We love Growing Room. They have served our family well. the staff loves and cares for the children. My kids love going everyday and learn so much. Staff helps children build relationships with each other and teach them so much… again my children thrive there! We have life long friends from Growing Room. We’ve been enrolled for 4 years and never had any issues. We love GR!
We've spent 6 years at Growing Room. Both our boys have been there since 7 weeks old. Our oldest who is in kindergarten still loves to go back and visit. We have loved every minute and I know my babies are taken care of while we are at work.
Had both of my boys in Growing Room Opelika.. my oldest went to school and was the only Kindergartner who could read & is now in the gifted program! My youngest went from birth until he was 3 years old. We moved away and still haven’t found a place remotely as awesome as GR!!
We are so thankful for the environment our daughter experiences every day at Growing Room! As a daughter of a stay-at-home-mom, I didn’t know what to expect and was very nervous sending my daughter to daycare. Within a couple of days, everyone in the center was saying “Hi” and “Bye” to her by name! She runs to her teachers to give them hugs every morning and her prior teachers when we see them in the halls.
Our son started at Growing Room-Auburn just shy of his 2nd birthday. Little did I know that within the next year, he would be dx with autism. We certainly had some challenges but Hollie and Amber worked with me and were willing to try several interventions. They were completely transparent with me being able to view his interactions on the camera in the parent area, and always called me with any incidents. When they found out they were opening an Opelika location, they recommended that we get him to that location because it would be closer to our home plus not quite as big and the Opelika School system could provide services to him if need be from there. We made the transition, and it was a smooth transition. Our boy thrived while there! Then when the pandemic hit, me and my husband were both essential workers so we needed somewhere for our dtr (who's a little older than our son) to go since the schools had closed. We talked with Hollie and she was great to accommodate us for her to attend as well. Our kids still talk about how fun that summer was at Growing Room. We were with Growing Room for about 5-6 years and I have no doubt that the foundation that our son received at Growing Room helped mold him to where he is today! Then when tragedy struck my family and we needed childcare placement for another child pretty urgently, I reached out to Hollie and she was so sweet to accommodate us again. This child had been through a traumatic event and Hollie along with the staff at the Opelika location were so sweet to my mom and the child. Growing Room was exactly what the child needed for development. I have had children attend some other childcare facilities within the area but out of them all, I would highly recommend Growing Room to anyone seeking quality childcare!
