Growing By Leaps & Bounds

Our son Logan began attending GBLB almost 2 years ago and he’s had such a great experience! When searching for a daycare, we were very impressed with the experience of the daycare teachers and that most (if not all) of them have been working for GBLB for many years (which I think speaks volumes for the center’s family-centric culture). They have been great about communicating our son’s progress and have given us helpful suggestions to help address areas of his development. And our son had loved the music class that he’s been able to participate in. And Abby (the owner) was very welcoming to our family from day one and is always very quick to respond when we reach out with questions. She’s also been very flexible if there have been times when we’ve needed to alter our schedule on occasion. We could not be more pleased with our experience at GBLB and would highly recommend Abby and her staff to anyone who’s looking for a great daycare!

My son has attended GBLB since he was 5 months old and I cannot say enough positive things about this daycare. I love that this traditional daycare is focused on developing strong relationships with all the students, and nurturing each kids development based on their age. Teachers are present with their classes instead of spending hours on admin and providing digital updates through an app which I truly value. The teachers at GBLB all have long tenure, which is a strong indication that this is a great place to work, and therefore a great environment for the kids. Miss Abby, and all the teachers are highly communicative and accommodating. We are so grateful to have found a well run, safe space for our little one to grow and learn.

Both of my kids (ages 3 and 4½) have attended GBLB since they were 6 months old, and they have truly thrived. The teachers are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child. Every teacher knows my kids well, meets them where they are developmentally, and takes the time to build relationships with parents too. My kids love coming home excited to share what they learned and the activities they did each day. Abby has been wonderful since our very first meeting (during COVID, no less). She clearly cares deeply about every child and her staff, communicates openly, and is always willing to talk through anything related to our kids. From infancy through preschool/Pre-K, we’ve felt fully supported every step of the way. The summer programming is a great example of the extra care that goes into this school—special activities like puppet and magic shows, a petting zoo, and a foam party make it so fun and engaging. The center is tucked away in a quiet spot and truly feels like a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a daycare in the area, I highly recommend GBLB.

We have been very happy with our experience at Growing by Leaps & Bounds. Between our two children, we’ve had the opportunity to experience every classroom, and every teacher has been wonderful. We’ve always felt confident that our kids are well cared for and learning so much each day. Communication from both the teachers and the director is excellent, which gives us a lot of peace of mind. Our oldest is now in school and was very well prepared to start kindergarten thanks to the foundation she received at Growing by Leaps & Bounds. Whenever we’ve needed to make schedule adjustments, the director has been easy to work with, supportive, and understanding. We truly feel supported as a family and are grateful to be part of such a caring community.

I can't say enough good things about Growing by Leaps and Bounds and the entire staff. I was looking for both a daycare for my infant son and a preschool for my 3 year old son. Both have been attending since October and we love it there. First, the director Abby is so wonderful and has spent so much time answering all of my questions and accommodating my schedule. Second, the teachers are amazing and care about my boys SO much. Every time I drop off, I know my kids are cared for and loved. They communicate everything about your child's day (eating, sleeping, diapers, etc.) and also fill you in on any activities or things that happened throughout the day. My 3 year old is on the spectrum and he is absolutely thriving there under the preschool teachers and their routine and guidance. He LOVES going outside every day and I am so happy that he is enjoying his days there. They really take the time to plan fun activities and theme days for the kids and I am so happy we found them! The hours are great and the location is easy for me to drop off and pick up on my way to/from work. The center itself is very organized (every kid gets a cubby) and they are great about communicating upcoming events, needs, changes, etc. Whenever I do anything or buy anything, I read reviews first and it is my hope that someone uses my review to help them make the best choice for their child.
