When transitioning back to work after my son was born became a reality, I have Burlington KinderCare to thank for making sure, me, my family and my eight month old were calm, comfortable and happy 😁!! All my fears, questions and anxieties were answered and eased from the moment we walked into the door. We are always pleasantly greeted at the door and in classrooms in the hectic mornings and happily assisted with a calm organized exit at evening pick up. A huge thank you to Miss Ashley, her amazing energy and smile while touring and answering my 101 questions were top tier. We ❤️ our Burlington KinderCare family.

I took my time trying to figure out the best way to write this. My daughter’s teacher fell taking her out of her crib and although KinderCare called me when it happened, they never followed up with an incident report that I asked three times for. When I asked her teacher what happened she told me she didn’t know and that she might’ve stepped on a toy taking her out. My daughter hit her head on the floor. I took her to the doctor and everything was fine but that doesn’t excuse not having an incident report (ever). In addition to that, her teacher told my mother during pick up that if we are picking her up when she cries at home “that’s not gonna work here with us”. Essentially, I stopped taking my daughter because I had a balance I needed to pay off before continuing her care but these are some of a few reasons why I will not be taking her back here. I worry so much when my baby isn’t in my sight about her safety and I need her to be somewhere that I feel like her safety is a priority too. Admin does seem nice but I’m not confident at the very least that my daughter’s safety is taken seriously.

The lady Ro, the director of the day care is incredibly unprofessional. She kept trying to charge me $150 for a registration fee that I didn’t need to pay because my daughter is a transfer from another Kindercare. She kept trying to charge me for it over 6 times, met me in person, gave us a mediocre tour of the school and still kept bringing it up. I think she may have sticky fingers cause it was awfully sketchy. Even when I asked questions on why I’m being charged she had an attitude like she was owed something. Talking to me like I’m stupid over explaining simple math problems but still couldn’t tell me where this extra $40 came from that I had to pay a week for my daughter to go there when my subsidy provider gave me a full break down of how much I should be charged. Ro also completely took my daughter out of their system even when I called days before and let her know my daughter was hurt, needed surgery and that I had to get cleared by the doctor before I sent her to start school. Apparently she “forgot” just like she “forgot” I paid that $150 registration fee already. I definitely recommend any other location of Kindercare, this place is incredibly outdated compared to the others.

My daughter has been attending the Burlington KinderCare for two years and loves it! She's excited everyday to go to school and see her friends and teachers. On our way home she tells me about her day and is always talking about her teacher and what they learned that day. I love walking into the center and the classroom and knowing what is going on by the wonderful, bright displays. She is greeted each day with a smile from all of the staff. My school age son also attended summer camp last year and had a lot of fun. He has ADHD, so the structure and continued social interactions were an important reason why we wanted him to participate in a camp. KinderCare was great because they were flexible with understanding that kids want to have fun on summer vacation, but provided lots of opportunities for learning while participating in special activities and trips. It really helped him bridge the gap between school years. We love our KinderCare family!
