I love love LOVE this day care. My son has gone here for about 2.5 years and we have always had a great experience. All of his teachers have always been wonderful. I have never had any issues but if I ever had any questions his teachers have always been more than helpful. The director Glenda is very nice and helpful as well. My son is happy here. He has learned SO much being here and is so much more advanced than other children his age when I compare him to my friend's kids that have stayed home versus going to daycare. It is clean and they are very family oriented.

My child has had wonderful, loving care at this center and Mrs. Glenda has always gone above and beyond. I have never felt comfortable taking my children to daycare until we moved to Livingston and found Great Beginnings. Every room my child has been in from infants to toddlers- I felt like I was dropping her off to family. I have always felt like each teacher LOVED my child and she was in a safe place. My daughter loves her teachers and school. She runs to her classroom with the biggest smile. I'd have to say she's just happy to be there. Not to mention my child is also learning and is reaching milestones ahead of schedule. Great Beginnings get 5 stars from us!

My son had been attending daycare here for about 5 months In total. After the first month, I was approved for CCS program. I started to notice each month my payment was always different. I had asked Glenda the director to explain to me why. She explained “ fees”. I asked fees for what exactly? Glenda said each school had different fees for this and that. And never went into detail. So one afternoon my mother picked my son up from school and when she went gone to change his diaper, he has a horrible rash. The next day I asked the teacher what he had had for lunch, hoping it had been from acid foods maybe. She said he ate corn dog. So that led me to believe he wasn’t being changed as needed. Appearntly they have scheduled changing times. I don’t agree with that. If they smell or can see a full diaper it should be changed right then! I also had asked Glenda to go back on the cameras as far back as 4 days.. and she told me the cameras only go back 24hours!!!! I was in disbelieve. How is that going to help anyone? Every morning I dropped my son off all the children in his class, almost always had thick, running noses and the adults never wiped them. It really bothered me. How uncomfortable that must of felt. The kids ran around without shoes on and the buckles of the seats that they sat in during breakfast and lunch had crusted food stuck to them because no one cleaned them daily and the room reeked of urine. It’s obvious the quality of care is low. And instead of hiring enough help, the director puts 12-15 children per teacher. I would exhaust all of your options before registering your son or daughter to this daycare.

My kids have been going there for years, 7 total, and overall have been great years. Nowhere is perfect but never felt like my kids weren't taken care of. I have several friends who have sent their kids there until they were old enough to stay home. Highly recommend.

More detailed story short...My son who was 3 at the time was scratched (it was bad enough for me to be upset) by his caretaker and the next day I went to complain and they both laughed at me and blew it off like it was nothing. I was livid, but NEEDED daycare as the others in town were full and I had to work. The day after I started to get a note literally every single day saying all the horrible things my son did which were complete lies. Then a week to the day after I complained about his injuries she kicked him out because of his ‘behavior’. Glenda is a TERRIBLE person.
