Grant Park Cooperative Preschool receives consistently high praise from parents across multiple years of attendance. Parents highlight the respectful, nurturing educators, strong community environment, and educational philosophy that promotes child development and emotional growth. The school's facilities, safety practices, outdoor learning, quality meals, and flexible scheduling are also frequently commended.
My children have all attended this school and we love it. The educators treat the children with a profound level of respect, honoring all of the children’s wonderings. The creative spirit of the school is also lovely. I love the cooperative environment and enjoy having my children see how adults and children can come together to make our community a peaceful space.
I would highly recommend Grant Park Co-Op (GPCP). From the first tour with Ms. Melissa, to the in-home visit by our son's educators, to the weekly updates, we have all felt welcomed and reassured that our son is in excellent hands. The caregivers are attentive, warm, and nurturing. They have really created a safe and positive environment where our son can thrive. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. We feel confident that our child is in great hands each day. We also love that it is a nut-free school and they take food allergies and general health seriously. Overall, I highly recommend taking a tour to see for yourself.
We have been at GPCP for 3 years and are so appreciative of the fantastic educators. Seeing our child’s growth, building on skills and interactions with peers and nature has been beautiful. GPCP has an in-house chef who curates beautiful, vegetarian meals each day, sourced from community CSA— and the children love it! GPCP also makes a huge effort to spend a lot of quality time outside and in the neighborhood— not just walking in a line, but interacting with what they see, exploring and having fun. We have enjoyed our time with GPCP and are so grateful to be a part of this community in our neighborhood.
2.5 years here now. I love this school. The staff and teacher truly LOVE the children and are involved in their lives, coming to big events and birthday parties. They go above and beyond to meet the unique needs of each child. Difficult behaviors are never labeled negative but instead are met with lots of love and extra support. Our daughter has thrived here. She has had some hard times but the teachers work with her and support her. Our daughter is becoming a beautiful human here and I believe it is because of how well she is treated by her teachers.
GPCP is a great place for kids. We sent our kid there and we love the school philosophy, the teachers and the community. Me and my kid still have friends from the relationships we formed during those years. It’s such a cute school with a strong sense of community.
