Outstanding Service – Above and Beyond I want to give a huge thank you to Shae Odom at the Grady Ponce de Leon Center (Financial Department). I had been calling repeatedly trying to get my medication handled, and unfortunately, I wasn’t being taken seriously by the pharmacy. It was frustrating and stressful. Shae was the first person who truly listened. From the moment she got involved, she immediately took action, explored every option available, and stayed committed to helping me until the issue was fully resolved. She didn’t brush me off or pass me around—she handled it with urgency, professionalism, and genuine care. Because of her, my problem was resolved in a timely manner, and I finally felt supported. Shae is compassionate, efficient, and truly goes above and beyond for patients. Grady is lucky to have her, and she deserves recognition for the excellent work she does. Thank you, Shae, for making a difficult situation so much easier.

They only good for giving you free medicine. I'm still homeless, depressed, broke, hungry for years now. Sleeping under a bridge but they still give you medicine. No housing or outreach support for black men as I was told.

OMG 😳 i have been coming to this clinic every since they open, i am well established in their system, i have a wonderful doctor,Dr.Gunthel, and never had any problems here, i also love the dental care at this clinic also, this service has really saved my life, more than once, thank you 🙏

While the Grady scheduling system and administrative system is it's own mess, the staff, across services, are amazing, compassionate, trauma informed, and dedicated. The Ponce De Leon Center has been consistent with their support of my partner while navigating all sorts of experiences, and we have been very grateful.

Very holistic care. Dental, womens clinic, HIV medication and management as well as therapists for mental health and group community activities available. Heros! ❤️❤️❤️🙂 You can get a referral for intake from Grady if you become HIV positive. They can do your labs too. And accept walkins if you show up around 8/9 am. They have life saving medicine and top notch customer/client care. And they do vaccinations too. And pap smears and birth control and free contraceptives. They also have a pharmacy but you can have it sent to Walgreens/CVS if thats more convenient. And medicine delivery is available. Sometimes they give bus passes. Ryan White program will cover you if you are underinsured.
