Grace Day Care

My daughter finished the 3-K program in June 2025. It’s a shame that this school doesn’t have more reviews because these teachers do so much for their students. The staff is great. They communicate with printouts so you’re in the know, and know what the kids are focusing on, what days off, birthdays, etc. It’s also a dual language program for Korean speaking kids and my daughter picked some up along the way. They always greet you with a smile and they do fun activities with the kids during the holidays. Now, they do blend some religious aspects in it, which I didn’t mind because ultimately, I wanted to teach my daughter about God. But it’s not too much that it’ll feel invasive or as if they’re pushing their own agenda on you. Even their classroom names are biblical names. Now, my two complaints are as follows: 1) there should be more communication between teachers and parents. We had to go out of our way constantly to ask how my daughter was doing, behavior, etc. I think this school should do monthly reports, stuff to work on, etc. I also understand that it’s only 3-K but for many kids, it’s their first time in a classroom that’s not daycare/out of the home so a little updating would be nice. 2) They began practicing their writing a little late in the year (sometime in April/May) and began assigning HW a little late too. It would’ve been nice had they started these practices early on, and perhaps not sending nightly HW because these kids probably are tired of sitting around and doing what they did at school, at home, given their age of course. Other than that, Grace is a terrific place for a child to start their educational journey 🙏🏼
