Full disclosure: I did not end up taking my child here, but that’s because of how bad my tour experience was. Right at the beginning of the tour, the owner introduced herself and immediately said that she’s a “big proponent of moms staying home.” She then proceeded to interrogate me as to why I wasn't staying home with my child and would not let up when I wasn’t forthcoming with an answer. Then, the woman leading the tour forgot my last name (which is obviously, totally fine!) but rather than ask what it is she just started to refer to my baby as “baby Lopez”… we are Hispanic and my last name is Perez… Even if those things hadn’t happened I would not be taking my child here. In the infant room, “baby shark” was playing so loudly over the speakers that they were shaking and I couldn’t hear anyone talking. How is that good for infant-ears? There was a playroom with a single toy and toddlers just running in circles for their free time. I saw a caretaker shove a kid into his seat. And, unless I’m missing something, their “cots” for nap time are essentially plastic Tupperware lids that the kids lay on. There was also a kid that was visibly sick and unattended to. If you’re looking for Christian judgement with a side of racism and low-quality care for your kid, this is the spot! At least the price is right.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE Grace a child. My oldest attended when she was 2 up until she graduated the pre k class! She still to this day talks about how she loved and missed Mrs. Lucy! She does such an amazing job with the children, I have never seen a teacher go above and beyond for kids as she does! She played a huge role in where my daughter stands academically! I couldn’t be more happier with the job she did with my daughter as well as the other teacher who’s helped get her ready for the next classes. Now we have returned with my infant. Returning with another child I must say I am still VERY happy with the way she has been treated. We absolutely LOVE Mrs. Tammy and Mrs. Amanda! As well as the other teacher that come threw the infant room. When my daughter arrives in the morning she is all smiles and excited. Best daycare around hands down! We appreciate everything you guys do!
Our son has been going to Grace A Child for a year now and they have been amazing. Always transparent and accommodating. They give feedback on his development and work with my wife and I to help him. We have a 1 year old as well that will be going to the academy shortly as well because of our confidence in their program.
GAC has been wonderful with my child. She has learned a lot since becoming a student there, such as her letters, numbers, shapes and colors. She can recognize her name and can almost spell it! It is a safe environment where Christian values are taught. Each day is a new experience.
Very nice, clean facility. The staff overall is compassionate and caring for the children. The things I like the best: camera access to log in remotely and be able to observe in real-time, snacks and lunch provided, the outdoor playground, and the learning that my older child has had! Staff turnover has been the hardest, especially in the main director role.
