Where do I start? Lockhart Academy is truly an oasis among childcare providers. We were on the waitlist for about 3 months and the care and attention that followed was worth every minute of our patience. From the owner to the teachers, my children received tender care from every direction. Lockhart Academy’s attention to detail is unmatched. The only reason my kids no longer attend is because we moved out of state but how I wish I could bring the school with us. My babies LOVED going to school everyday and loved the hot meals provided, the outdoor time, the fun craft ideas, and the baby friends they made in their classroom. I’m not usually one to dismiss negative reviews (because everyone’s entitled to their own experience) but honestly, it would be extremely difficult to have a bad experience here because everyone has the sweetest most genuine souls and truly put the children’s wellbeing first.
My son Jewel has been here for 3 yrs. My daughter Jordyn' is currently attending. They will remain here for the duration of their Pre Kindergarten education. All of the teachers are amazing. Mrs. B, Ms. Sierra, and Ms. Janie are all attributes to the business and provied a special touch for parents and students to succeed as a whole. I thought this was a great daycare until I met the owner. The teachers there are great but the owner of this daycare is the rudest, most disrespectful, and inconsiderate person I have ever met. I was told to find another daycare because my son was being a normal 3 year old and was tossing a toy into the air. He wasn't even trying to hit another child with toy just tossing it up into the air and I was told that he had behavorial problems and the owner herself told me that there was something wrong with my child because of this. Needless to say I immediately down and took my son out of this daycare. On top of this I was paying 140.00 a week in the beginning and then found out that the weekly rate for a 3 year old was only 110.00. Like I said previously the teachers there are great but the owner is a awful awful awful person that I would never want to deal with again.
Great school/Daycare. My daughter has been there for over a year and she loves it! Ms. Brenda is a God send. I'd highly recommend Goodtimes. My daughter has fun and she learns.
Amazing learning environment my girls has been there for almost a year now and I can say they learn more and more every day. I'll most definitely recommend friends and family.
