Good Shepherd Preschool And Extended Day

This review is for the school age summer camp, not the Church. We were disappointed with our summer camp experience after hearing such great feedback on the preschool. I limit the screen time for my kids so was shocked to realize that they watched movies daily for 90 min. Wish I had known that earlier and for the price, expected more daily programming vs the movies and free play time. The field trips were appealing but disappointed with the timing. For many, the kids returned around 1-130 pm and had to wait until then to eat. Lastly, the counselors were polite but at drop off and pick up, did not appear engaging. No concerns on my kids’ safety but expected more interaction from them. Overall, with some programming changes and increased staff engagement, this could be an A level camp but as of now, the quality delivered with consideration for the cost, the camp was a disappointment.

We started with GSP back in 2023 when our first was 18 months. We were pleased with the support we received and our overall experience. Management changed, teachers left, and we had a vastly different experience the 24-25 school year. I found the integrity, transparency, and overall professionalism of management to be subpar and the quality of teachers to be inconsistent. Giving 2 stars only because there are a few wonderful teachers.

I thoroughly recommend Good Shepard Preschool. my son was diagnosed with ASD LEVEL 2, and the director and her staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that my son receives the love and support that he needs, on a daily basis. I will be forever grateful for their staff and how much they’ve loved my son. If you have the chance to send him here, you won’t regret it. After seeing one negative review of this preschool, I just can’t believe them, and I advise you not to either. They’re incredible. I have never had an incident involving my child receiving negative care here. The teachers and staff are loving and wonderful. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’m also a teacher, so I understand how important education is for children, and they check every single box. If you want a place to love your child where they will be safe every single day, send them here. ❤️

The BEST! Teachers are amazing to the mom that is concerned about someone wiping your child's booty did you took the time to meet the teachers have a conversation or maybe ask about how is your child was doing? They are moms just like us

There aren't enough good things I can say about GSPC Preschool. We were blessed with the opportunity to send our youngest there for the first time last year in the Toddler class with Ms. Jaime, and watching how he flourished was unbelievable. He learned so many new things, loved going to school every day to see his friends, and would always ask for Ms. Jaime on days off from school. The directors, Katie and Kristen, are incredible. They are kind, compassionate, and understanding of every possible situation that may arise, whether it is with your child or you/your family personally outside of school. They are constantly communicating updates/changes/information as soon as it becomes available, and make sure that each family is treated like they are part of the whole Good Shepherd family. We are so excited for our littlest to come back in a few days in the 2s, and can't wait to see how much more he learns and grows at Good Shepherd. We can't recommend this preschool highly enough!
