We love Good Sam! We choose GS because it offers Spanish immersion, but also the hours are great, and they provide breakfast, lunch and snacks for the kiddos. We also liked that Potrero, which has kiddo 2.8yrs - 3yrs old or so, was very play based. The 1st week in, the kids were learning about their veins and organs in a very fun way! I was also very impressed that they have a teacher who is skilled in child psychology and is available to help us new parents navigate new behavior changes. We also love the monthly field trips, which allow us to get to know other families and parents. Even more, Good Sam holds regular monthly meetings and pot luck get togethers for the families. The teachers and staff are exceptionally friendly and caring! We are now at their Folsom site, and its more academic. The kids are learning their letters and how to write their names. Our kiddo even passed the fluency exam for SFUSD Spanish placement, which I can only attribute to Good Sam teaching! We cannot recommend them enough.

To the amazing teachers, Genesis is going to 1st Grade, thank you all for really getting my son ready academically for Kindergarten, his teacher Ms.Cristiina also sends hugs and thanks, she proudly had Genesis in her classroom she asked me once very early in the year and very curiously where Genesis had gone to preschool and I proudly named The Good Samaritan over there on Potrero! He explored so much there he learned gracefully. My son attended The Good Samaritan 2020-2021 Thank you for being an amazing impact on our son.
