Golden Gate Learning Center

Our son went to Golden Gate Learning Center from the time he was 14 months old until he was nearly 3 yrs old. Hanna and Sabrina are wonderful, hard working, and responsive leaders of the center… really wonderful thoughtful people. Our son's teachers always took exceptional care of him. Every day was a different fun and supportive activity especially designed for his stage of development to help him grow socially, emotionally, and physically. He had plenty of outdoor playtime every day. They are improving their front yard to increase outdoor play space for the younger children. We couldn’t recommend the team at GGLC any higher. We will REALLY miss the people here as will our son.

My son went to Golden Gate Learning Center for about one year before entering kindergarten. The staff was always friendly, full of energy, and eager to engage the children in fun crafts, games, and educational activities. He came home happy every day. I felt confident that he was supported and surrounded by people who cared about his well-being. I recently asked him what his favorite memory was of Golden Gate Learning Center, and he said, “The graduation party.” He was overjoyed to have his family in the room to witness a lovely presentation of crafts and a celebration performance. The kids put on quite the show with choreographed songs, props, and big smiles. It was clear that the teachers and the students worked really hard and felt proud of their achievements. Truly special.

Great daycare. My kid has been attending for about a year now. They do lots of play and learning activities. My kid just brightens up when we pull up to the daycare, and always comes out smiling. The teachers are great. The director, Ms. Hanna is a sweetheart who cares for her students individually. She is professional and easy to communicate with. They use an app called Brightwheel. They log in all the meal/snack times, potty/ diaper change. Lots of pictures too! My kid loves her daycare!

I highly recommend GGLC. It was my son's first daycare center. We were worried very much at first. But my son adapted to this center very smoothly with the help of all teachers. I can feel teachers love kids. They are reliable. What I like the most in GGLC is that they have well organized education system. Kids are learning, making and playing all day.

Our child was in the youngest class (age 6-18 months). Teachers are loving. Generally we felt that he was looked after, only rarely there were obviously late diaper changes etc. Main criticism is that they don’t let the young kids go outside unless they walk, which in my opinion isn’t healthy because they stay in a room with small windows that don’t open all day with many other potentially sick kids. Our child had back to back contagious illnesses while there (went through RSV, ringworm, norovirus, many many fevers and colds) which I think could have been in part prevented by letting them go outside. After 7 months we gave notice to terminate because our child was sick so often that he was at home more than he was attending. We had to pay 60 days of tuition from when we gave notice and there was no flexibility to let us go sooner, which felt unfair and a long waiting time. Daycare is in such demand in our area that I would have thought that they would find a replacement sooner.
