Our son started at the Goddard School 2 months ago when he was 6 months old - we toured several daycares (even had a Nanny prior) and fell in the love the moment we walked into Goddard. My husband and I finally felt like we could trust who was watching our son, and he would be at a place where he can learn & be constantly cared for. Our son smiles every time he enters his classroom. I would highly recommend the Goddard School to any parent looking for a reliable, safe and welcoming daycare for their child!

As a mom of two girls eight years apart, I consider myself incredibly fortunate that I didn’t have to go through the childcare search twice when returning to the workforce. When I had my first daughter, one of my biggest worries as a new mom was how to navigate the world of childcare—with so many options, I wasn’t sure where to begin. I ended up finding The Goddard School in a way that felt true to who I am. I didn’t take the traditional route of online research, reading reviews and credential checking—that just isn’t my style. Instead, I picked up the phone, scheduled a visit, and went in to meet the owner and staff. I did this with several childcare centers, but with Goddard, it was truly love at first sight. The first thing that stood out to me was the cleanliness of the environment. As I walked through, I had a strong feeling that my daughter would be safe there. At the time, I didn’t know much about their exceptional curriculum (which I now know is one of the best and helps children get ahead academically—spoken as a proud mom of a Goddard graduate!). What mattered most to me then was finding a place where my child would feel safe, cared for, and nurtured, just as she was at home. That peace of mind is priceless to any parent. The staff was friendly and kind, and the owner was warm, down‑to‑earth, and truly had an open-door policy—always welcoming parents to sit, chat, and ask questions. So, when my second daughter was born years later, it was an easy decision. We enrolled her in The Goddard School as well—this time at a different location since we had moved—and the experience was just as wonderful. Once again, we were embraced with the warmth of the staff, a clean welcoming environment, a strong and supportive management team with an open-door culture where parents are encouraged to communicate and most of all a place where children are seen, valued, and understood as individuals. If you’re a parent looking for a place where your child will be nurtured, cared for, and appreciated for their unique talents and abilities, The Goddard School is truly that place. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. Our family is proud to say that we will always be part of both the Ashburn and Leesburg Goddard family.

My son is 4 years old and it's been 4 months since we've enrolled him in the preschool program. Before then, he was very shy and avoided socializing with other kids. Now, our family has noticed a big improvement on his vocabulary, speech and his social skills. We are extremely glad we made the decision to bring him here. Not only that but whenever my wife and I go to pick him up/drop him off we're always welcomed by the staff and they are some of the most friendly people you will meet. I highly recommend this school. Note: I have never seen my son so excited to go somewhere on his own and I couldn't be more proud of how independent he's become.
