My older 2 kids had a phenomenal experience attending GLO. I just received a call that my youngest 2 kids are not allowed to return, after being sent home sick 2 days ago, because the teachers in their respective classes feel overwhelmed watching them. There was no warning of this and when I picked them up over the past 2 weeks, the feedback was great. My daughter is extremely bright and social and though my son is set to be tested for autism, he is a sweet boy who had not acted out at all while there. The call from the daycare blindsided me and leaves my husband and I struggling to process what went wrong.
GLO has been a Godsend to our family. Every daycare provider here that has cared for our daughter has been phenomenal. They've worked with her on reaching milestones, they've rocked and sang her to sleep, and they've checked on her when she was out for a medical procedure. They are nurturing, they listen, and they genuinely care. I also can't say enough wonderful things about GLO's director, Allie. She has been amazing during our tenure at this daycare, along with the rest of the staff. We love GLO!
GLO has been amazing for our babies! Our 3 year old loves going to school everyday and has made friends with so many teachers and staff. We’re always greeted with friendly and familiar faces. The staff truly cares about the well-being of the kiddos. Our infant just started a few weeks ago as well, and the infant teachers are so great and understanding!
We LOVE GLO. This is the daycare that my friend's coworkers at Hendrick recommended, and it is excellent. (All God's Children on Antilley Rd. is apparently also great.) GLO staff are warm, kind, and affectionate with the kids. They actually get down on the floor and play with them. Our toddler reaches out to them when we hand him off in the morning, with no tears, and immediately settles in to play. (Night and day contrast with the daycare we pulled him out of, where he cried hard at drop-off every single day) We always find him playing gleefully at pickup before 5:00. (Around 5:00, toddlers go in buggies in the hall, so if you can, try to drop off earlier and pick up earlier to maximize playtime out of the buggies.) Illnesses have been minimal - just colds. They seem to do a great job sanitizing toys. There can be a long waiting list (year-plus), so it pays to call and get on the list as soon as possible. GLO is worth the wait. We feel SO much better knowing our son is happy at daycare. Thank you, GLO!!
Some of their employees are rough with the kids. They act like their employees have no life outside of work. They take advantage of people. They have absolutely disgusting attitudes. They all talk awful about eachother and peoples children. 0/10.
