I love Glen Mar ELC. We switched from a franchise and couldn’t be happier. Everyone is very friendly and our kids really enjoy it. Our children have not been sick like they were in their old daycare and we feel that they are very well cared for
We love Glen Mar! The teachers are excellent and truly care for the kids. The leadership is excellent and draws great teachers. Everything is well done. I think I knew it would be a great experience going there when we signed up and there was breakfast foods and coffee the morning of open enrollment. The staff knew they were expecting a big group and that we would be waiting well in advance and they were so gracious to us, letting us in early and making sure everyone was well accounted for. I appreciate the great communication about everything as well. Also, they are open most of the time even when schools are closed for snow. There was one time I wasn't even comfortable driving at all, but Glen Mar was open on time. I think this is a great advantage if you need to go into work despite the weather.
Had a really disappointing experience that ended with a covid scare in a class where our child was often the only one masked. Thankfully we pulled our child out just before a confirmed covid case in her class. One of her classroom teachers was kind and seemed competent but most other admin and staff were not very warm, kind or welcoming and I felt like my child was just one of many. This is my youngest of 3 kids so we’ve been to a few preschools over the years and this was the first where I felt like my child was a number not a child they wanted to get to know. You can find better.
