We absolutely love Gingerbread House! From day one, Mrs. Cooper and her incredible staff have made our son feel right at home. He is always so excited to go to school, and it’s easy to see why—they truly go above and beyond to care for and nurture every child. The creative monthly themes, engaging activities, and fun field trips make learning such a joy. Drop-off and pick-up is also SO easy. Our son is currently in the 4-year-old program, and the growth we’ve seen in his handwriting, math skills, imaginative play and critical thinking this year has been incredible. It has really been amazing to watch him have so much fun while absorbing so many new skills! If you’re looking for teachers who will love your little ones & care for them as their own, you have to check out GBH! We absolutely LOVE Gingerbread House Preschool! My son looks forward to school every school morning and always gets in the car happy. He loves showing off his artwork and projects and also telling us about the different centers they have all the time...the classroom environment is always so fun and changing for the kiddos to make it special. The teachers are TOP NOTCH. I'm so thankful we found our place here.
Gingerbread House Preschool is one of the greatest treasures! In an age where quality education and childcare are almost impossible to find, Mrs. Cooper and her team do it all. This is truly a family. Your child will learn everything they need to know for kindergarten but in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Mrs. Cooper prioritizes imaginative play, building social relationship, while also building the foundation for academics with fun hands on learning!
It is hard for me to put into words all of the amazing aspects of Gingerbread house. I had toured a few preschools with my daughter but she was very shy and cried at all of them. As soon as we walked into Gingerbread house, it felt like home. Angie connected with my daughter instantly and got her talking and laughing as if she was with someone she had known all her life. As soon as school started, my once very shy daughter blossomed! She begged everyday to go to school and was so bummed when it was not a school day. I love the small class sizes, the teachers, and the amazing facility! Other preschools I had toured were just a classroom with some toys in it. When you walk into Gingerbread house, it was a night and day difference. Since preschool is their niche, they are able to tailor everything solely to the development of 3-5 year olds. They have amazing pretend play stations, so many crafts, and an overall cozy, welcoming feel. I would never send my children anywhere else and cannot emphasize enough what an amazing place this is for your children.
Sign your child up before you get waitlisted, and read reviews later! You will be so happy you did. Gingerbread house is the absolute best preschool for small class size, great ciriculum and teachers that care for your child individually. The drop off and pick-up is the BEST! This is the only school I have heard of with such a simple system for parents, they really thought it through for the parents' benefit and children's safety. (You and your additional children stay in your car, this is HUGE in the winter or if you have multiple children!) Mrs. Cooper has organized everything so well, even planning some field trips where the whole family can attend (so you don't need a sitter for other children.) They even ran a Mother's Day and Father's Day workshop for parent + child that was the cutest ever! Our 3 year old had never been in public without us (his parents) and I really worried about how he would do with this big transition. Mrs. Cooper and the Gingerbread House team made it a surprisingly easy (and exciting!) first year of preschool, my son even begs to go to school on the weekends! Our middle child is also SO excited to join Gingerbread House this fall. Thank you Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Ames and Mrs. Piper for treating my son like your own and helping this huge transition be the best experience we could ever ask for. We appreciate you!
