Most parents praise Georgia Regents University Child Care for engaging teachers, clean facilities, and happy children. However, one former parent raised serious concerns about data privacy and information security after receiving an accidental text about another student following their departure.
I wasn't going to write a review, but time has passed and, although my child is now in Kindergarten and has (happily) not attended UCC since February of 2023, I received an accidental text from my child's old teacher asking about whether or not a current student would be attending an event they were holding that day. It is alarming that my information was not removed upon leaving. I had other issues at the daycare that I am happy to talk about, but suffice to say that I absolutely would not recommend this daycare. My information was not deleted and I received information about another student as a result- this is unprofessional. There is also a review on Care.com about them that is accurate to my experience as well.
I love this daycare! As a parent, I am confident and comfortable sending my child there. The teachers are very engaging with the kids, and my son loves school because of it!
We started about a month ago and it’s such an amazing place! Super clean, there is staff that cares, the children look happy and taken care of!
University Childcare is awesome. Locally owned, clean facilities, a safe, fun space for kids!
