My daughter has been attending this school for almost two years, and we’ve experienced the transition from Oak Brook to BBMA. From the very first day, she has loved being here. The daily schedule keeps her engaged and excited, with activities in the STEM room, computer lab, gym, library, and even time on the splash pad during the summer months. At her previous daycare, she stayed in one classroom all day and often became bored. Here, she’s constantly learning, moving, and exploring something new. Now that she’s in kindergarten, BBMA provides transportation from her elementary school, and every afternoon when I pick her up, she asks why I came “so early” because she’s still having so much fun! Her kindergarten teacher has commented multiple times that my daughter entered school more than prepared—knowing over 80% of the material being taught—and even helps other students who are struggling. I credit this completely to her PK2 teacher, Ms. Ariel, whose dedication and patience made a tremendous impact on my daughter’s growth. Ms. Ariel takes the time to understand each child individually and learns how to help them succeed. All the teachers at this school are truly amazing. Their passion, commitment, and genuine love for their students make all the difference. They go above and beyond every day to create a nurturing and enriching environment where children can thrive. I sincerely hope that the new management recognizes and values the hard work, professionalism, and heart that these teachers bring to the classroom. Their dedication is what makes this school so special, and they deserve to be appreciated and supported.
We’ve been part of Big Blue Marble Academy for over 3.5 years, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the very beginning, the teachers have made this place feel like a true second home for my children. Miss Bianca, Miss Jenny Weaver, Miss Ariel, and Miss Amber have all played a huge role in both my daughter’s and my son’s early education. They’ve not only prepared them academically but have also made me feel genuinely connected and supported as a parent. I can honestly call them friends—each one of them has such a big heart for children and education. Miss Amber taught my daughter, Heidi, and now teaches my son, Carson. She’s done an incredible job preparing them for kindergarten in a way that makes learning fun and exciting. Her energy, kindness, and creativity truly make a difference every day. For my two-year-old, Miss Sarita, Miss Janae (Nae Nae), and Miss D’maya have been such blessings. They are so nurturing, patient, and loving, exactly the kind of caregivers every parent hopes for. My son attended Oak Brook starting in September 2024, and his last day was on Halloween. We had a wonderful experience with Oak Brook prior to the BBMA transition. Ms. Sarita and Ms. Janae are truly exceptional — my son grew and thrived in their care, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. After the transition to BBMA, things felt less smooth, and it seemed like some of the heart of the facility was lost. When my son moved to his most recent classroom, staffing challenges led to inconsistent updates. Even so, Ms. Dmaya was caring and patient with such a challenging age group, and it’s clear she truly loves the kids. The teachers at this center are kind, dedicated, and doing their best — I just feel they need more support. Ultimately, we decided to move our son to a daycare closer to home.
We’ve been at BBMA, previously Oak Brook, for over a year and are so grateful for the amazing staff. Ms. Stephanie has been such a wonderful support for our son—he lights up when he sees her each morning, making drop-off so much smoother. His classroom teachers, Ms. Sarita and Ms. Janae, go above and beyond with their dedication to child growth, consistent use of the BBMA curriculum, and strong focus on safety. Their daily updates and photos give us peace of mind and let us see him learning and thriving. Since we don’t have family in the state, we truly view his teachers and the front desk staff as family. We lean on them for support, and they show us every day that it really does take a village. I highly recommend BBMA!
