Geneva Lakefront Child Care Center receives mixed reviews. Most parents praise the staff and their care for children, but one detailed negative review raises serious concerns about credentialing issues, frequent unannounced closures, rising costs, and state compliance problems.
This place is awful, which is unfortunate. My daughter loves this place and most of the staff. However they are constantly under investigation . They have noncredentialed staff supervising and over seeing our children. They have a pattern of closing without notice. They closing early and announcing closing a few days in advance putting unneeded stress and further financial burden on families. Mind you they keep all the money the receive regardless of how many times they close early or for the day. They justify raising prices to be more inline with other local daycares financially. However if you look at the other facilities, the services they offer and the qualifications of staff are superior to this place. Straight money grab. Finally they raise the prices around the same time they sent out a letter stating they might have to close due to not meeting NYS requirements. The new office assistant is absolutely awful, disrespectful and unable to communicate like an adult wo/o being passive aggressive or sarcastic. This place continues to reduce services while increasing tuition. It's mismanage beyond belief. Stay clear and use other day cares with in Geneva. I believe a new complaint will be filed w the state!
