Generations Connected

As one of the youngest residents and only here for 3 months. I have to say I am impressed. The staff (as a whole), is very kind and helpful. There are a few grumpy but there are so few it doesn’t affect my 5 star review. Food is really good you have 2 options for lunch and dinner but if you don’t care for them there is the permanent menu with soups sandwiches hamburgers and much more. Breakfast is the same every day where you tell the kitchen what you want and you get the same meal until you change it. I am happy here and feel safe and well cared for.

My mother was in the rehab side and our experience was absolutely horrible! She was only there for 3 days before she unexpectedly passed away from a blood clot. She had complained about her arm hurting and couldn’t move it and the doctor said everyday “oh we need to get that x-rayed today” and never did it. On the third day I walked in and she said “look my arm doesn’t hurt anymore!” She passed within the hour! Her nurse didn’t take care of her either! She would call for help and it would take 2-3 hours before she ever came! (My mom layed in a mess the whole time she waited) This was right at a year ago. We are now looking for rehab for my mother-in-law. She will not be going there!

I have a friend at community care. They do not want to help her with a bath or wash her hair or help her to brush her teeth. They will pick her food up before she gets through eating. The staff is always hanging out at the nurses station just talking. They will dress her in dirty clothes and she has plenty of clean clothes. So Sad 😞 😔

Amazing staff!!! This is the go to place for your loved ones!! My mother is here and she is 92. I met someone that had their grandmother here and she lived to 107 at this facility. I came down from Michigan and spent 2 weeks visiting my mother for many hours each day. I saw a lot. I saw how the staff each one of them love their job and take great pride in what they do. They all felt like family, there is so much love and respect. I absolutely fell in love with Tammy Pope and I'm thankful for this angel that works there. I see how busy she is but always paying attention to the residents with great care. Phyllis I really love Phyllis too I wish I could remember all the names because there is so many people there deserve to be mentioned in this post because of their empathy and professionalism. The kitchen staff too , I see people cleaning when they didn't know I was looking . Its a very clean facility. Does not smell like a typical nursing home. My good bye to my mother was hard and a staff member cried as she witnessed it I think her name was Retta. I felt great love here. I would highly recommend this nursing home for your loved one. I was skeptical like no place is good enough for my mother, but this place is!! Angels work here every single one of the staff!! I love all of them.

I witness firsthand the care and love that the staff at community care put into their residents. Many of them spend more time here than in their homes, you will never find a more dedicated group of people to care for your loved ones. Thank you all for everything you do!
