I cannot say enough about the way that this facility has supported my children and family. Since their change in management my children have received such high quality care and have been happy to be at a daycare for the first time. We have been so amazed at the kindness of the teachers and the communication that is given for my special needs children. 10/10 would recommend checking them out! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very disappointed to say the least. 15 years ago our children attended day care at this location when it was under a different owner / name. We now have a 3 year old in our care and I can tell you that this day care does not provide the same quality care that my kids received back then. Things have gone WAY down hill. I have observed very poor classroom management with no teaching, no activities, very unorganized, diapers lost, with mostly just ‘zoo keeping’ all day. The kids would take off their shoes and be allowed to throw shoes / clothes / toys all over the floor all day. I saw a kid jumping on a table like a trampoline and the teacher in a daze doing nothing. I have observed kids climbing on book shelves and jumping off over and over. I saw kids sitting in a circle on the floor and throwing toys at each others’ faces. Chaos. Each time the teacher is present but doing nothing or is on her phone. Once, our kid came home with a split lip (bleeding, in pain, obviously injured) and the staff did not even notice or know what happened! We had to ask for an incident report. Our kid has had scratches, bite marks, bumps and bruises. It’s like a war zone in there. Our kid got kicked out with no formal communication or previous write ups (for biting 1 time). They notified us that he was expelled by ‘voice mail’ after they closed on Friday. No taking to us or having plan for action. Very poor management, unorganized, lacking communication. I have worked with schools and day cares for years professionally and I have never seen anything like this. Definitely would not recommend.
Horrible! Read the reviews before mine , they will literally STEAL your money . This place will kick your kids out without ANY notice! Staff is always rude and look like they absolutely hate their jobs! Very rude to the children and they do not even pay attention to the children. My kids HATED it here. Staff always yelling at the kids. Hence, the HIGH turnover rate here…. My kids have came home with scratches and bruises and the daycare would have no clue what happened or an incident report! Stay away from this place , they should be shut down! Also, check their reviews from when the state visits them. They will also charge you for crazy fees whenever they can as well. I’m still waiting on a refund and it’s been months!
My child is so happy here! We love all the staff, they know me and everyone who helps with pick up and drop off, over the time i’ve had my son in the daycare they have became family! They were the first daycare he went to as he had been with only family before, I was very hesitant but they’ve taken us by the hand and showed us that a daycare can truly love your kids like you do!
I am so ashamed to say I let my child attend this daycare. She went here for roughly 7 weeks and it was HORRIBLE. I heard good things about Gateway but should have trusted the Google reviews. I was contacted at 5:51 pm on a Friday by a very cryptic voicemail to say my daughter could not come back due to their staffing. I tried calling back but of course they were closed. I had picked her up an hour prior to this and NOTHING was said to me!! Here we are a month later and they STILL have not given a refund for the extra week we had prepaid. Staff is rude, not nice to the kids, my daughter would tell me her teacher's were mean bc they would yell about toys. I witnessed this on multiple occasions feeling uneasy about how rude the staff was to kids and downright screaming. Not to mention they lost her blanket claiming it was never there, and threw multiple pairs of her underwear away after being asked not to and passive aggressively left them excessively dirty for me to completely clean out hours after she had the accident. I would beg any parent to not allow this place to watch your babies. They are better off at home.
