La Petite Academy (Kelley)

We have had a great experience here. We have been there for a little over 3 years. Never a bad experience. Our daughter started there when she was 1.5 and now our little guy has been there for about a year. They both seem to love it! I love that they have cameras and you can see your little babies anytime you want. I work long shifts so it’s great to log in and see my babies playing with their friends and having fun. I feel that they are well involved in the child’s education. They started her out with a great base knowledge and right as she turned 4 she was able to read 3 letter words and count to 15. I was able to build onto that and as she started pre-k this year, at 4.5 years old she has been able to read 4 letter words. I must give a lot of credit to Ms. Carrie for that. Such a wonderful teacher! The director Sarah has been amazing and always so social and welcoming to us every morning.

My child loves this daycare. We love the director! However their turnover rate is ridiculously high. We’ve been going there 2 years now. Lately every time I walk in to pick up my child there’s a lady in the front room constantly yelling at the kids. You can hear it from the room next door. It’s not nicely either. She instantly changes her tone when greeting you

We love it here! It’s been 2 years and I never had an issue. Ms Sarah is super helpful and nice. We love our teachers! Ms Alison, Ms Kaylynn and Ms Carrie are awesome.

I’ve had my child at this daycare for two years. She started in the infant room and since the beginning I have felt she has been nothing but loved uncontrollable here. The director is patient and very honest which I appreciate more than anything. My child has a bit of an attachment problem so drop off is sometimes hard for her, but the teachers here pick her up and calm her down so I can leave knowing she’s in good hands.

I want to take a moment to speak about an experience that deeply affected me and my child—our time at what I can honestly say was the worst daycare we’ve ever dealt with. After waiting so long to get my son enrolled, I had hopes that he’d be cared for, understood, and supported. But instead, from the very beginning, all I received were constant complaints about him. There was no effort to work with him or to understand his needs. Instead, they treated him differently—singling him out, labeling him, and even going as far as suggesting he might have autism, without any real understanding or medical support. We’ve seen doctors. We know our child. He does not have autism. What hurt the most was how unprofessional and rude the staff was. I would pick him up and see the sadness on his face. He would tell me he didn’t want to go to daycare. And as a parent who has to work hard every day, that crushed me. I was stressed at work, constantly worrying about whether my child was being cared for or simply being tolerated. No child should feel unwanted. No child should be treated differently just because they learn or act in their own way. And no parent should feel unsafe or uncomfortable leaving their child in someone else's care. This was truly one of the worst experiences so I highly recommend you don't take your child here and to top off the bathroom and the areas are not cleaned or Sanitize properly you can smell the bathroom even when they just open!! 0 stars in my book 👎👎
