I’ve been meaning to leave this review. GOMS is such a wonderful daycare…They cared for my daughter from 4 months to almost 2 years until we moved, and the staff is so caring and loving, and they really are to thank for how my daughter progressed in her speech and personality. She always went in happy and left happy telling me about the songs and crafts and other kids. Ms. Aida, Angely, and others are fantastic teachers that make the place a home away from home. Thank you so much again for all you did for Reese. She’s doing well in her new school, but she still talks about her friends and teachers at GOMS.

My daughter has been at GOMS for a year and is well taken care of and loved on. She walks in with a big smile every morning and we feel confident that she’s engaged in enriching activities every day (lots of arts of crafts, story time, neighborhood walks, etc). Her teachers are so creative and thoughtful and we’ve noticed huge leaps since she joined the toddler class. We’ve been so happy with our choice.

GOMS is a hidden gem in the Jersey City Heights neighborhood. My son has been attending GOMS since he was about 9 months old and has been in all three classrooms. The staff have been exceptional caregivers, very communicative, and are loved by my son. Some of the things we like most about GOMS: - Most of the staff speak Spanish and they do some lessons in Spanish. This was a big plus for us as a Spanish speaking household. - The GOMS community is a warm and welcoming one. The staff is incredibly consistent (low turnover from what I have observed) and therefore, it really gives a community feel. They never hesitate to give me updates, particularly when my son first transitioned to daycare and are always so supportive during transitions and milestones. - The hours are flexible and helpful for parents commuting to work. They are also open more often than other daycares because they don’t have any week long closures, at least for the past 2 years. My son has learned so much from his teachers and the other kids. We absolutely recommend GOMS to anyone looking for a daycare in the Heights.

My son has been attending GOMS for two years, and he's 3yo now. This is a warm and loving place with a caring staff. He had previously attended a more expensive daycare downtown, but I never quite felt comfortable with that place, which was much more cold and detached. The women of GOMS couldn't be more different. They are my neighbors, and they feel like family. They are all wonderful, but I will single out Ms. Mariely, who is a gifted and creative teacher of the toddlers. My son surprises me every day with new things he's learned from her. When my newborn daughter is ready for daycare, we'll be sending her to GOMS. The facility is in a great location, near multiple parks for outings and convenient to public transportation for parents working in NYC. The daycare is somewhat small but very bright and clean, recently renovated, with plenty of books, toys, and art supplies in great condition. They send pictures and updates to parents through an app and are always happy to discuss any concerns. Highly recommended.

Having hunted around every daycare within walking distance, GOMS was hand down the best choice for our family. They truly love and care for our little one and always communicate with the parents. Our little one has been going there for 6 months now and she has developed wonderfully and gets excited when we get to the front door. They are our family. Thank GOMS teachers for giving our daughter (and us!) the best daycare experience.
