I started looking for a preschool and ended up finding a real community. My son is thriving at Fort Hunt Preschool! He learns so much about feelings, emotions, empathy and also about nature, families, cultures, letters and numbers. This school is the perfect balance of fostering his interests and teaching new things. I love that he spends so much time outside and that he has so many friends. I love that I get to see all that upclose in this great cooperative setting that also gave me true friends. Great teachers, inclusive environment and a welcoming community! Our family has been attending Fort Hunt Preschool for over 2 years. We are thrilled with our sons development at this preschool. The teachers and staff are very knowledgable and are experts in early childhood education. We love the nature-rich, play based curriculum. We personally enjoy the parent help days, as it gives us an opportunity to see our son thriving with all of his friends and teachers. I recommend this program to any families looking for a fun community that allows your child to blossom.
We tried other preschools for our son and nothing worked until we found Fort Hunt Preschool. He loves going to preschool now! The teachers and staff are amazing and truly care about the kids. Our son learns and also has fun! Our kiddo has a severe allergy and Fort Hunt Preschool has bent over backwards to make sure he is in a safe environment, which gives us such great comfort each day.
My two children have attended this school for the past three years. We could not ask for better, more caring teachers. They are amazing! The natural playground is spacious with a shaded sandbox, a play structure, an area to dig for worms, a music area, and a wooden boat. Parking is easy which is a real plus in this area. We've had a very good experience at this preschool, and we will miss it when my youngest finishes the 4s class.
