We switched our 3 year old son to Forest Hills Nursery & Kindergarten in February 2019, and it's been a great experience so far! The teachers are lovely and engaging, and work with the children on a variety of lessons - counting, letters, animals, etc. They just completed a whole unit on ponds and what animals live there. My son comes home with his work and is so excited to share it with us. I love that the teachers send home letters every week about what the children are working on and what's coming up. The communication with parents is great. There is a big outdoor space the children play in when the weather is nice. The inside is clean, fun and bright. My son is happy and smiling when I drop him off and happy when my husband picks him up in the afternoon. It's a great daycare - no problems whatsoever.
Our daughter has been enrolled in FH Nursery & Kindergarten since February 2019 and we are very happy with the overall experience. The teachers are kind and warm, they keep coming up with creative arts and crafts projects that she brings home from time to time, and our little one looks happy when we drop her in the morning. This is a great daycare in our opinion, highly recommended.
My son recently attended their summer camp and had a wonderful time. The staff is kind and very caring. The teachers went above and beyond to make sure my son was safe and happy. Each day Ms. Frida greets us with a smile that lights up my son's face. She gives us a daily report of what he ate, what activities he participated in, and how he is adapting to his new surroundings. My 3 year old son came home singing the months of the year song after the first week of camp! My son loves the big outside yard and summer sprinklers. The classroom is filled with beautiful artwork and kept very clean.
We strongly recommend this daycare for your child. They have very patient and respective teachers. Also, the owner (Mr. Saul) is always sensitive about our questions and concerns. The fact that the small space is a great advantage for your kids so that the teachers are able to allocate enough time for each child in the classes. By the way, it has a big play garden which is perfect for the summer season. We are very please to send our child to the Forest Hills Nursery and Kindergarten. We are also appreciate to all our respected teachers for their great efforts.
Forest Hills Nursery and Kindergarten is a great day care and early learning facility. My four-year old son has been there since August and loves it. The staff treat the kids like family and the facility is small and intimate in that my son and the other children get to really know their teachers because the classes are not overcrowded. In addition, the facility is very clean. When my son arrived, he was just starting potty-training. Now he is potty-trained, in large part because of the help and support of the teachers there. The facility is also located in a nice, family friendly and safe neighborhood in Forest Hills. It is about 3 blocks from Queens Blvd. I highly recommend Forest Hills Nursery and Kindergarten.
