I love this church! The sermons are truthful and send powerful messages. Although If I was to say something the church could improve on, it would be their outreach. “Community” is the first word in their name so of course, there are many ways to plug in. But I wished it was easier to see/know about how and where you can help. Additionally the places to said “plug in” would be more focused around the community outside of the church. Not only helping and ministering to families already apart of the church’s community. With all that said, it is still a great church full of kind and welcoming people.
After the big earthquake we had in November! My doctor's office end up being at the church and that was so sweet there and I felt so comfortable.
I’ve attended CCC for most of my life. Not only is CCC my family’s church, but this church is family. I’ve had the opportunity to serve others through various ministries in the church and have been greatly ministered to here as well. The healing prayer team and community cares program blessed my husband and I greatly during COVID when he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Not only did this community surround us with prayer, they provided meals, emotional support, helped us move, helped get my husband to appointments when I couldn’t get out of work, and so much more. Now many of the church members are supporting us through a lengthy adoption process. This church is really about community outreach and you can build lifelong relationships here. They are always looking for volunteers and it’s a blast getting to work by some of the most joyful people you’ll meet. If you’re considering visiting, I would highly recommend checking it out. Come say hi to my husband, Stephen, and I in the church cafe as well so we can connect. We love CCC! They truly live by their mission statement.
We attended this church for just over a year. The teaching was solid and scripture based. Nothing overly challenging, but truth was spoken. We faithfully attended same service every Sunday. We sat in the same area each week. We greeted people and we stuck around after service to try and connect with people. I even helped in nursery for midweek Bible studies. Despite our attempts to make connections and build relationships, that never happened. We wanted a church where we could call each other family and find support and friendship. So we left CCC to find somewhere else to go. After we stopped attending, we never once received a phone call or even a post card in the mail saying we were missed. “Commmunity” might be in the name, but sadly the name was the only place we found it. We left after spending a year with only a few people knowing our names, never having a meal with another family from that church, and no friendships made.
Very welcoming!! Have greeters at front doors before each service. Many different ministries for all family members. Most important, the church is God oriented and wants to take Christianity into the community, state and the world!!
