I am as Catholic as they come, and I admit I've never been to this church however a few weeks ago I encountered Zachariah and Lois your wonderful golden retriever comfort dogs, and they are both very good wonderful dogs who are indeed quite comforting.
Attended a little car show they put on and it was fabulous! Good selection of cars and strange rides I hadn't seen before, wonderful free tacos, great desserts, and the Very friendliest people in town.
No holds barred, this Pastor B is hilarious 😂 he is also very knowledgeable about the words of Wisdom from Almighty Jesus Christ himself. So if you are seeking a place to redeem yourself and share a few laughs for less than a hour or so a week come as you are you will not be disappointed I can guarantee it 💯 personally I have never left with out a 😊 on my face 👀
FGSLS is one of a kind! The teachers and staff are genuine but not stuffy like you might find in some other private schools. They truly care about the wellbeing and education of the children. They are authentic and treat every child as an individual while adhering to school rules and education requirements. Class sizes are small and the kids have a lot of opportunities that they wouldn't have in the regular school system (lots of field trips, many recess breaks throughout the day, PE, Art and library each week, etc.) This school is really like a family. Everyone knows each other and they all work together as a team (family) to make sure the children are well taken care of. Another thing that really struck me with this school is how diverse the classes are. There are children from all different races, ethnicities, and social backgrounds and they are all embraced with warmth and love by the teachers and by the other children. I think this uniqueness allows for many additional learning opportunities that go beyond the books. It helps the children better understand, respect, and appreciate those who may not look like or sound like them. FGSLS truly embodies what a Christ centered school should look like. They also do many community engagements (Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas performances, etc.) that include community members to come and fellowship with the school. Again, this provides the children with invaluable experiences about how to "Love Thy Neighbor" that they would probably not get in traditional settings. We LOVE FGSLS!
Want to hear the word of God without prejudice? This is the place. All are welcome. Pastor B. gives great sermons that are timely and heartfelt. Decon Steve is a great counterpoint. The love of God and family is obviously at work in this House of God.
