So I just drove up to the church a lady just came out talking on her phone she was very disrespectful I just asked her if the church was open but she was completely rude and ignore me so yes I did kinda was irritated so God forgive me and I just gave say well God bless you what type of Christian church your ruining oh wait a fake one

I moved to Napa in 2013 and left a church that I didn't think could be replaced. I was right, I tried and tried many different churches throughout the years and none made me feel like I belonged. Fast forward to 2021. The pandemic left its mark on so many people and so many ideals (especially around the church and gathering). I knew I needed help so in May of 2021 I decided to check out the Celebrate Recovery(C/R) at First Christian Church (FCC) on Tues. nights. I truly felt welcomed and decided that I wanted to keep attending C/R. I was invited to another church in the area for Sunday worship by someone that I had met in a phone conversation so I went to this church the next Sunday. No one greeted me, and I had to introduce myself and tell them I was new before someone came to lead me around and talk to me. Not a problem for me but if I was a shy new Christian, I know that I would have left. I did mention this to that pastor just because I think it was important for them to know. First impressions really do matter. I decided that the next Sunday I would try FCC. I loved the C/R, and many of the people there were regular attendees at FCC so I figured it was definitely worth the effort. When I got to FCC Sunday morning I was greeted by a very sweet and smiling Connections Ministry Leader who gave me a gift and set me up with connections to the church. The worship was amazing, the kids and family ministry was so terrific and truly caring, the Pastor was so "on Point" and the congregation was open and friendly. Like any family though, they are not perfect, but they try their best to love like Jesus and truly that is all that matters to me. We are all beautifully broken and when we can fit in a place where that is accepted, where we feel we can heal and not have to live up to some "perfect" standard, then we are able to let Jesus heal us. I truly feel this is a place of healing and love. From the C/R to the Sunday sermons it is all about Jesus and fellowship. Thank you FCC for being faithful and honest to our Lord and Savior Jesus! I will never find a church to replace the one I left in 2013 but I found a church in FCC that is as honest and caring in their faith as my old home church. I am very happy to call FCC my home church. Are they perfect? No. Is any human or establishment? No. Do they love well? Yes, and that is truly all that matters to me.

I have visited First Church three times consecutively. Worship services are beautiful! The Congregation is warm and welcoming, Senior Pastor Allen (prefers the use of his first name), sermons; which by the way feels like a one on one personal conversation, display his keen knowledge of God's Word and delivers to the listeners historical biblical and culture back ground, as he spoon feeds deep theological doctrine. Having carefully dissected each biblical verse referenced in his sermon, which are also displayed on a large screen for parishioners review; Pastor Allen compares today's secular culture and Christian living throughout his conclusion. Check it out, if you want to freely worship, and enjoy the music ministry, Easy listening, comfortable atmosphere for the Body of Christ to experience The Holy Spirit. No Pretenses, just Followers of Christ trying to understand how to live the life they sing about. Much Love, Your Sister in Christ

I live on first street and every Sunday there is is traffic issues due to the people that attend this church they create a line in the merge lane in the middle and honestly don’t know how to drive. The other day a driver got mad because I entered the merge lane because they had literally created of 6 cars behind them waiting to enter the church parking lot. They began honking and flipping my family off. Like they are about to go to church and this is what they represent. I hope their pastor addresses this issue.

Great place fantastic people who support one another they also are a big supporter of celebrate recovery group. All around very full of Gods love
