We have LOVED A Place of My Own for our two daughters. The staff is wonderful. The classroom setting and the way they structure the day makes for a perfect transition to TK or Kinder. It's hard to even put into words how great A Place of My Own has been for our daughter. We had been raising her on our own with the help of her grandparents but as she got closer to the age of 2 realized she needed more interaction with kids her age and not just adults all the time. We looked into daycares and were fortunate enough to start with A Place of My Own. Ms. Vickie gave us an excellent tour along with the Director Ms. Shannon. Everything is so professional and the environment felt clean, inviting and fun! In the two months our daughter has been there she has grown so much and developing more everyday. We love seeing her art projects and picking her up at the end of the day seeing her play with the other kids in the wonderful outside playground they have. The best part is every morning when we tell her it's time for school, she is excited to go! And knowing that she is happy and in a safe place means more to us than anything.
