My husband and I moved to this area from South Texas in January and my husband had to return to Texas until his retirement. We learned we bought the wrong house, and after my husband returned to Texas, I encountered one major problem after another, including my car breaking down. The church community stepped in and extended a hand of friendship and hep in a way my husband and I have rarely experienced before. And as an added blessings, the teaching of God's Word is strongly preached. 🥰
Thankfully, no topical teaching. The Bible is actually taught here! What a great place to grow your faith by learning what God says in His Word.
When we moved to Augusta We were invited to attend church here. We never looked back, we love first Baptist Church. It's a great place to grow in your walk with Christ. The message coming from the front and Sunday school. And our children absolutely love the youth group and all activities that take place. It’s a very family friendly church.
I attended a funeral here. Nice church, very accommodating staff. Funeral was large so they opened a second room and broadcast the service. There were so many people, even with the 2nd room and chapel, people were standing. The staff ushered people into the choir area on stage to accommodate. Great service. I'm not a religious person but they didn't force religion during the service.
