What Parents Say
NOTE: These reviews appear to be for Feather River College (a community college), not a child care center. Reviews are predominantly positive (5/5 ratings), praising staff friendliness, campus beauty, and educational quality. However, some concerns about administrative processes and facility maintenance are noted.
I went here expecting to be able to transfer. I worked hard on completing all the classes I could to be eligible for transfer and I was told that the "no course articulated" agreement on assist meant I didn't have to worry about it since the classes aren't offered at Feather River College. Now that I've applied to multiple different universities, I've been hearing back from each one about how I didn't complete the needed classes, and how I'm not eligible even though FRC doesn't offer these classes. I would have planned my education differently if I had known this SOONER. I'd have had better luck applying for university straight out of high school as a freshman.
This school issued out money to a person who stole my DOB and info. With no proof of identity like a drivers license or state ID they gave this person money and then sent it to collections under my credit. Have tried to call them to Resolve this issue and get proof but never get an answer or a call back. I froze my credit and Put in dispute filing with the FTC. This is so frustrating and they are no help.
I have been at FRC for a few years now, and each time I have a problem of any kind it seemingly feels like it's a huge process to receive any real form or dedicated support to help you troubleshoot when problems occur. Everything else seems fair on campus and there are some fantastic teachers. Sadly, this doesn't excuse the unnatural feeling of these troubleshooting procedures FRC recommends. Visitor Parking and access to them needs to clearly be addressed and reviewed so that students don't get tickets they can't afford. Thanks.
Trying to get information from Kelly Conner over the phone was like pulling teeth. She definitely did not leave me with an impression that she wanted to help me, or even cared that a student was interested in attending this college. Her demeanor doesn't leave you with a positive impression of the college.
I started college at FRC 40 years ago and loved it! One of the best experiences I had. I went on to get a BS at UC Davis. Helpful staff. the one-on-one instruction was wonderful.
